great replacement
We recently re did the interior of our home. All the hardware and lighting are black and the front entry was the last thing not yet changed. This fit the bill perfectly.The size is just right. Its a heavy piece. Took 2 people to hang. One to hold, one to mount. It does not hang so low that it impedes with the opening of the front door.
entry lighting
This fixture is a perfect size for my entry way. Just the right amount of modern without being over the top. Heavy. Heavy enough to need help holding it when installing.Otherwise it went up fine.

We are really happy with this light. We are restoring a mid-century home and these add great character to the hall. They can provide a lot of light as they have 3 bulbs. This flush-mount light was a little harder to install than the semi-flush version because there are two tiny screw holes that you have to thread through, but other than that, no complaints about this great light!
