Great product

Great product ! Arrived in good time, it took half an hour to put together and is a sturdy dog pen. Really happy with it.

The Pawhut kennel arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. It was heavy. I was able to assemble it in a couple of hours which included creating a level base which it needs. I placed on a wooden frame. Stakes for anchoring it on grass or dirt would be helpful. I am using it as a standalone catio. Accesories such as shelves and ladders wiuld have made it perfect! Great value for the price.

Love this Kennel. Use it for my cat he has always been an outdoor cat but was attacked by a dog or coyote last fall so I needed an outdoor enclosure for him. Size is great he has lots of room and is safe. Was extremely easy to put together and is great quality (cover on top will probably not last long but serves the purpose for now) Would definitely recommend this product for a cat or dog.

Pawhut cage. Perfect size

Perfect size! I got this so I could keep my two cats safe on my balcony. It’s big enough to have a small scratch post and a waterproof den inside for them to hide in if it’s cold and still have enough room to walk about. I’m two stories high so they can enjoy the view without me worrying that they will jump.

Super fast delivery. We are attaching this to the large chicken run we purchased earlier. We have inserted 2x4 for perches. With the cover, the chickens have a secure place to perch at night. They perch, we close the door and they are secure from predators. For the winter months, we'll wrap the kennel with clear tarps to keep them warmer. The kennel is easy to set up, everything is so easy, Instructions are easy to follow.

easy to assemble works great for medium dog. will purchase another one when puppy grows up. Latch needs to be reengineered it's a joke. put a large carbineer on the two upright posts on the gate and panel by the gate works great. Buy some 12 in x 1/4 in stakes with 2 or 3 in u shape at top of stake to fasten kennel down. this will improve stability of unit. Not to be used for long term constant use. I purchased it. to have somewhere for puppy to have place to potty, lay around in the sun and get in dog house if need to get out of elements for 2 to 3 hours a day only. As stated earlier pup will only grow to 30 or 35lbs so will add another kennel when time comes.

Decent quality but not necessarily long term use

We used this outdoor kennel for several different animals including cats, chickens and a small dog. For the price it was Used for many different functions but after three years it isn't in the greatest shape. I would try a stronger construction next time.

This PawHut kennel is awful. It would be a great kennel if the pieces were actually the correct length and it fit together like it should. Put the sides together properly? The roof trusses are too long and won’t fit where they’re supposed to. Redo the sides to make the trusses fit? The middle roof supports are too long and you can’t fasten them. Force everything together by stretching it the second way I’ve described? The tarp won’t fit because the kennel is too wide… because the roof trusses won’t fit if you put the kennel sides together like you’re supposed to. I paid less for my KennelMaster run that looks exactly like this (except the tarp and wire are a better quality) and all those pieces actually fit together.

Love this kennel. Bought it to contain a 14-month old Labrador Retriever. Connected 2 kennels together, will connect more as she gets older. Installed a dog door on exterior wall of house that allows her to go in & out to kennel area on her own - works great.

This Kennel is Sturdy, and Affordable.

It is a large item so I had to wait several days but I waited another week to put it up anyway so...well worth the free shipping. Now that being said, My dog, a fully grown German Shepherd loves this kennel. You are supposed to acclimate your dog a little every day. This kennel is lighter than the weight of the box would have you to believe. Together, it is very heavy but each individual piece is light.

Well built

This is a perfect dog run - sturdy, easy to assemble, quality tarp and bungees, holds up well to the elements. One of my favorite advantages of this is how easy it is to expand. We purchased 3 sets and have made an L shape run for our dog to access grass, pavement, sun and shade. We attached it to his doggy door so he can let himself out safely when we are not at home. The cover protects him from predators as well as weather (we live in the mountains with lots of hawks, fox, etc). Very sturdy, easy to move and overall a wonderful product. Shipping was fast and packaging was perfect to protect the product.

Great for chinchillas

I got this for my chinchilla and he loves it. The different levels are great and so are the ramps, the whole cage is very sturdy, I haven't had any issues with it breaking or rusting, the bars are thicker too so I can hang or mount things from them. The double doors also are nice because I don't have to move things around to reach the top or bottom of the cage.

Pawhut Dog kennels-No Customer

I bought 2 and arrived in good shape via UPS. However NO DIRECTIONS. Searches internet couldn¡¯t find. Called customer service, they are non-existent. Leave a message or email and they might get back to you in 48 hours. Totally unacceptable. Kennels are good for medium active dogs. I use them for inside foster dogs so didn¡¯t have to guess on how the roof goes on. Would not expect them to last long outside. I purchased 1 inch rubber furniture caps to put on the legs to reduce movement on basement floor. To really do it right you need two people. Tightening the brackets is a challenge. Made in China and made under other brand names so shop around. Customer service was so bad I won¡¯t order from them again. Lucky nothing was damaged or missing because I would be stuck with it.

WATCH THAT LATCH

Really nice hut, and easy to assemble. It was the perfect size (4x4) for my carport. I want to be able to let my 2 little dogs be outside with me when I am sitting by the fire and cooking out. However, my dogs had the gate open in under 15 minutes.. I am going to the hardware store to see what I can find that will keep them in there. After all, isn't that the whole point?

I purchased these for an indoor kennel set up.Cons - the fasteners between panels are sort of a pain to tighten. The wings are a hair too wide which makes it get caught as you??re tightening them. I used pliers to get them tight and secure, and in the process, scraped up the pieces. I also had a hard time perfecting the panels and getting them ??square??; however, I used two kennels and made them (1) 4x4 and (1) 4x6 - which in fairness isnt the original intention.Pros - for the money, I think they are sturdy enough and look very nice. These are exactly what I am looking for!I am overall very happy!

Walls need reinforcement to keep shape

easy to assemble despite box being heavy. My large dogs pushed these otherwise high quality cages into a circle shape and the roof gables popped off. So I had to reinforce all 4 sides, top and bottom with 4' conduit pippng x8, secured with 1.5" hose clamps x16, an additional $60 of material. Now they hold their shape and are very sturdy

Easy To Assemble, Well-Made...

I am using this for some outdoor time for my feral cat who hates to be in the house all day. At first, I placed it on soil and he dug under the fencing and got out. i then placed it on the patio and it works great. If you are going to use it for chickens, if you have prey animals in your area, you would need to attach a mesh bottom to it and cover some of the gaps in the fence that are big enough that a weasel could shimmy in. Otherwise, for the price, this is a great pet enclosure that is nice to look at, well-made, and easy to assemble ( takes 2 people).
