Poor Quality, Flimsy

I hired help to build, thinking they would build it better than me. I don't think anyone could build this and it feel sound. The wood is fragile and the shelves are super thin. In 2 weeks of sun, the shelves are warped at the joint. You'll have to rebuild and structurally reinforce it to avoid it collapsing.

Overall it took about 6 hours to build mostly by myself and some help with the bigger parts. Some parts had the holes for the screws in the wrong part and I had to find different solutions. I also received a couple of the parts out of the package with damage.

This catio is not real heavy duty, but i think it was well worth the price. Really easy to assemble (as long as you read the directions). The parts were all square and nothing was warped. The paint/stain is not put on very thick, so i would recommend a coat of sealant to keep it from rotting. All in all, my cats love it. It's bigger than i thought it would be and there's lots of shelves and such for them to play on. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a pretty good catio. I was hoping it was a bit larger, but it does do the trick. I like that it is fully enclosed wire under the fabric roof so my feral kitties can't get out. I knew it was going to be hard to put together so I actually hired a handyman on the side and also was worries it wasn't heavy enough. He added some small wood pieces to the bottom of the structure, which also studied the panels. There are 3 in the front and 3 in the back and 2 sides. By adding the wood on the bottom, it made it much heavier and structurally, made it much more sturdy.

The enclosure is nice and sturdy. However, there were places where there were some holes that were not pre-made where the instructions noted that there were. So I had to use an actual drill to make those holes. If a person doesn't have a drill, building the enclosure could be a problem.

This was built without a drill and took 5 hours. Two people and a drill are definitely required to build this. Unfortunately there were quite a lot of missing pre-drilled holes and one of the walls had a hole or the wiring was broken when I took it out of the box. Other than that, it is a good size catio. I would recommend making sure you are certain about buying this item before purchasing. It comes in two boxes that weigh a little over 100 pounds.

Quality is not great for the price, wire sides are very flimsy, no writtem instructions were included, only photos with the parts and arrows. Very poor details. Took much longer to put together then said on description.

Great catio!

A larger space for multiple busy cats was needed, and this fit the bill. So nice to have shelves, roof, canopy and built in tunnel access already included! Pretty straightforward to put together; two people work best. Looks really nice too. The only issue, kit comes in four boxes and are not shipped at one time; received them in three deliveries over a six day period. Would have been nice to know as I came from out of town to install.

Turned out beautiful and my cats love it! Very great product and well worth the money. A little difficult to build and did need help from someone with more skills then myself.

Cats love it! We bought some “astroturf” carpet underneath and have it on our covered patio. Now the indoor cats can go “outside” and be safe!

Instructions had a couple errors but relatively easy to assemble.

The quality is great, the instructions mean well, but are confusing.

Waste of Money!

This cat enclosure is very very poorly made. I just put it up and I’m very unsatisfied. There are missing pieces. The manufacturer did not finish pre-drilling the assembly, in fact there is a drillbit stuck in the roof where it broke off and they never finished pre-drilling the parts. For the money, you could make your cat a penthouse compared to this dinky kennel.

Finally - A Catio Big Enough For Our Gang of Five

Instructions were challenging but manageable (pay close attention to images, and orientation of pieces during assembly). The 4 boxes of material was a bit daunting, but with a helper it can be put up in 2 to 3 hours (a third person comes in handy during the roof panel installation). I highly recommend putting a sealer on it prior to assembly as wood arrived covered only with a light coat of gray paint/primer. Nice Delivery Home Depot!

Very nice quality. Only a few staples that missed the wire on a panel, otherwise directions were easy and the cars enjoy being outside.

Unfinished galvanized Sharp points

Where the galvanized mesh wire meets the wooden frame all of the tips are razor sharp. I don't understand why these haven't been covered up. A cat will slice its paws open on all of these spots which are at the tops of every location in this catio. After we started putting it together my husband and I sliced our fingers on it several times. Cats will definitely climb it's also above the cat doors it's at the top of anywhere the wire meets the wooden frame. I don't understand why Home Depot would put out an unfinished product like this that will slice cats paws open it's in many many places and I'm having to purchase Gorilla Tape to cover it. It would not have taken much for them to fix this it's very scary that people are purchasing this product and there are several razor sharp wires sticking out at the top of everything. Otherwise we were satisfied with the product. But they should not have this for sale and they need to pull it immediately. I plan on contacting Home Depot today about this. I sure hope I get some sort of refund because now we have the whole thing put together did not notice until after when my husband cut his finger. I honestly would just want to refund and return it but I'm not willing to spend eight hours to take the thing apart. Pretty unhappy about this massive safety hazard.

Awesome. Bigger than I expected, my outdoor kitties love it. Will add a floor and a tarp for this rain. Plenty of room to add heated kitty houses. No more heartache from losing my furbabies to the coyotes.
