was going to use lowes recommended installer. miracle methods of Kansas city. they quoted me $2800 for clean-cut and 2 grab bars. when I decided to go another route and get shower install somewhere else Mike from miracle methods got weird and said it was a great deal. I should do it. seemed angry I didn't choose them. I am so glad I didn't use them.

We bought this because I was having problems stepping in and out of the tub. Thought it would be great better than changing to a shower, because our grandchildren still love to play in the bathtub. My husband and contractor son in law installed it. We have had problems with it since it has been installed. We even had another professional come and check to see if maybe could have missed something somewhere. Has always leaked.

Very pleased with the product. Installation was more involved as the tub walls were narrower at the bottom than the included support allowed. Just needed to stack and shim some pieces of 2x4 to get the height correct and then all was good. Wife loves it!

Was easy to install and much cheaper than alternatives. Haven’t used bath yet but glad to have option with a flat bottom. Most tub options with doors have partially raised floor. Wouldn’t be comfortable for bath. Do need to lower shower curtain but that’s easy.

This is a great product. Makes it much easier for my mother to get in and out of the tub and was way less expensive than replacing the whole tub/shower.

Wonderful, innovative idea

This has to be one of the cleverest ideas out there. A leg injury made it impossible to step into my tub. For a fraction of the cost of replacing a tub with a walkin shower, I now have the convenience of a walkin which can convert to a soaker tub very easily. An easy fix!!!

Best conversion kit on the market.

This Bathtub Conversion Kit is great. I am getting chemo and my legs are weak. I was afraid of falling getting in and out of the bathtub, but since the conversion, I no longer have any fear. This was very much more inexpensive than having my tub replaced with a walk-in shower, plus it has an insert so someone can still take a bath. I highly recommend this conversion kit.

Only reason for 4 stars is item not installed yet. Hard time finding installer at reasonable price but I have cast iron tub. product appears to be well built. I bathe very little and I’m hoping that my wife who has limited mobility will get back to bathing and showering on a bench. This is for her. But I love the idea of still being able to bathe. I have to buy bath lift for her to bath. Cost for walk-in tub is crazy once everything is factored in. In our case I have much more concern that walk-in tub is a lot less safe.

If you have a basic comfort level and the tools install was 2 hours. Great product. Highly recommend.

My son in law installed this in just a few hours. Everything required for installation is included in the kit. Its been in a couple weeks now with no problems whatsoever. Shipping was fast and securely packaged.. Makes getting in and out of the shower so much easier for a disabled person or one who is a fall risk. Very easy to remove and replace the tub panel.

Few issues with instructions- the blade size recommended was actually too long so did cause a small cut in step area. Fixed it with caulk but it is noticeable. So far it’s working very well. My mother is 86+ and could no longer step high enough for standard tub but remodeled bathroom was too nice to destroy mosaic tile surround. Will recommend to anyone.
