Badly made, missing parts.

My shelf was missing parts, it was missing a whole shelf section. Even without the section, the rest of the shelf is badly made. The finish is nonexistent. The wood is splinters, knotty, warped and cracked. It hasn't been sanded, and sap is leaking through the unevenly applied stain. The shelves themselves are spaced too far apart to secure hold most wine bottles, animals bump will send them falling from the rack. Burgundy style bottles don't fit at all.

The rack does serve my purpose. However, the finish is not of good quality! There are areas where the bottles rest that have wood splitters which if not careful when assembling the rack, you can be impaled by them! Also, while there are little dimples where the screws are supposed to go to, they are not defined enough! I had to locate all of them and use an sharp pointy tool to make them easier for assembly. With all that said, the price made it worth while!

First off the wood is red not like it is pictured on the site. It’s an ugly red stain. The whole reason I wanted it was for that light wood look. Second the grooves aren’t big enough in the back to fit a wine bottle to sit properly so it doesn’t slide out. This is super cheap and not worth the money. It’s not sturdy at all. I wouldn’t trust this to hold any of my wine. If you do get this and are hardly I would suggest sanding down the back side to fit the bottles better.

This is a good functional wine rack. It assembled easily. I used wood glue to strengthen it and replaced a couple of the screws that didn't seem solid. Its 25 bottle capacity is a handy addition to our wine cellar area and the price was right.

This is so splintered everywhere it looks like it skipped several finishing process. It looks similar to a rough sawn pallet dyed red. Not at all what I was expecting
