I ordered 4 of these through HD along w 8 shorter ones. The 8 were delivered but the 4 never came. HD won’t help me out and neither will progress lighting. They took my money and did not deliver me a product and blamed it on FedEx. No customer support. I do not recommend this product.

Do Not Buy

I HIGHLY recommend purchasing different lights from a different store. I ordered 4 of these and 8 of the 18 inch versions. The shorter ones showed up and the longer ones did not. After chatting and talking with HD customer service they pretty much told me it was the carriers fault and not theirs. I should contact them or contact progress lighting themselves. No one was any help. I ordered 260 plus dollars worth of product from Home Depot and when it didn’t show up they kept my money.

No confidence in purchase

I bought 4 of these along with 8 of the 18 inch versions. The 8 showed up later than promised and the 4 never showed up. Home Depot says they were delivered. When I talked to Home Depot customer service they said they couldn’t help me. I bought them from Home Depot but Home Depot told me I had to go to the manufacturer. The manufacturer hasn’t responded to me. So I’m out the price of the 4 lights with a half finished kitchen. I would not buy with confidence here. HD doesnt have your back.

No confidence

Pretty self explanatory description, however, what was not known was the fact that when put on a dimmer, the light "color" is more yellow than the other lights I installed of a different manufacturer. Because I could not order more lights of the same brand (shortage), I order what I could find.

Good light/bad assembly

The light itself is excellent, once installed. And here is the problem... The instructions are basically useless, the screws provided do not fit, and you need to have two people to do the installation - unless you are an octopus. The bracket panel can't be separated from the light itself, so you have to hold it close while you screw the bracket under the counter. Bring a friend...

Not same as advertised.its very small

Product arrived a bit sooner than anticipated which was nice. Hardware seems to be missing according to the directions. Will be calling about this but just got it today and haven't had time to do so yet. Directions are not that clear and it's pretty much just pictures with no written instructions. Haven't tried to install it as we're getting an electrician in to hard-wire it. Not happy that the box it was in was delivered with the top open, the bottom taped badly and the plastic bag the light fixture was in was also open at the top. I guess it had been a return. It was left outside our porch (instead of inside which is what the sign on the window of the porch says) set upright at the top of the 5 stairs leaning against the post. Just lucky there wasn't wind or precipitation before I noticed it.

Extra wire needed for installation

The housing for the light had several locations for wire access, but inside the housing the connection leads were too short for wiring from one end, and I had to get some additional ground wire and another connector to make up the difference. On a new installation plan accordingly for extra wire length and on a replacement installation have spare length of wire for doing what I did. The next purchase was a dimmer, as the light is bright - not a bad thing!
