2 screws does not cut it

NO way would i ever buy another. They tried to save a nickle and cut down to using 2 screws instead of the normal 3 to hold it together. Cheap.

Took about 5-10 minutes to replace a plug on my traeger grill after my dog broke the old one. The green wire goes to ground. I picked this plug because it looked the nicest and isn't so large that it blocks the other plug. Plenty of space between outlets

Great item but be sure the wires are not crossed over each other inside the plug before you tighten it fully. It will short and trip the breaker

Buy a different brand

Purchased three legrand brand ends to fix some cords. first two the screws stripped out with no effort. Didn't even try the third. Will find a retailer that sells Hubbell

accepts #12 wire

I needed to replace the plug and socket on a 12 gage, 3 wire extension cord. This new plug has no lugs to connect looped wire leads, but has holes with set screws that accept up to #12 wire tips, which is a much better design. Packaging mentions none of this, but this is best feature.

it's not a Hubble... but it doesn't have to be!

The plugs and connectors offered are as durable as just about any other cord connector and they have the Underwriters Laboratory's signature of approval so they are compliant as well for standard cord connection of the voltage and amperage designated on the plug and package. The difference is that these connectors are 25% of the cost of the name brand. i.e.- Hubble, Leviton, et cetera. if *any* of these cord connectors is run over by a 15,000# fork truck here on our industrial metal fabrication facilities or sucked up into your lawn mower at home the plug is destroyed. (period) It does not matter if you've paid $5 or $20 for the connector it's garbage. Just make sure your voltage and amperage are good and make sure you have the UL stamp on the device and you will be good to go and keep a couple extra coins in your pocket.

Check the prongs - there are different kinds

This did the trick - we needed to replace a very outdated plug. I originally purchased the "T" kind, the prongs were not facing the way a regular outlet does, more like a dryer plug. Just check which way the prongs face and you will do well with this.
