Buyer be aware: They don't last!

It looks good and works well until it breaks down sooner or later. Had several installed at my home during a renovation and liked the way they looked and worked. However, all of them started to break down after a few years. By comparison, timer switches made by other brands with similar functions, but may not look as good, last much longer than this one, because I haven't experienced any similar failure in other brands which were installed at the same time.

We had this installed when our bathroom was renovated. 16 months and switch failed. Although we like the convenience of the timer, we are going back to old school simple toggle on/off. Stuff now days are manufactured so cheaply. Old switched lasted a lifetime.

Took a few minutes to install. Easy instructions to follow as this replaced a different timer that gave out. Just swapped the wires one at a time. Works great. Looks great. Nice large buttons.

This timer switch was fairly easy to install and works great. Just make sure you have a neutral white wire otherwise you won't be able to install it. Also you need to supply your own wire connectors because they didn't come with the timer switch.

This is one of my favorite timers, and use it for almost every bathroom exhaust fan install since it allows you to set it and leave the room without having to go back and turn it off. We have used these for years with no issues.

Leviton is a winner

Good product. Installed lots of Leviton devices as an electrician.

Here's the truth: Leviton puts low quality resistors in its timers. You install one and it works well for up to 18 months, then you turn it on you get a LOUD buzzing sound that lasts the duration of the timer, loud enough to be annoying if you are on another floor or across the house. Maybe loud enough for your neighbors to know when you are on the commode. I bought a house with three of these junkers installed. This morning I had enough. When I turned on the timer and went into the living room, all the recessed lights were flickering until the buzzer... I meant "timer" ended. Do what I'm doing, replace them with a quality timer.

Buzzing

Timer started buzzing within 1 week of install. Replaced with a second one and seem ok now. After my issue, I noticed comments from others complaining of the same issue.
