Amazing rug! Could not be happier with this rug and the quality, especially at this price. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. Rug is soft and seems very durable. 1010 recommend.

The colors are slightly more muted than I was expecting but it doesn’t shed at all and it’s soft. I’m glad I bought this rug. Definitely recommend.

Not 100% wool. The rug I thought I purchased was all wool as depicted. The rug I received was 70% wool 30% cotton. I am disappointed because it is a beautiful rug but unfortunately I need the resiliency of all wool due to pets and high traffic. I will return it.

Rug completely came apart after vacuuming it for the first time per the instructions. Nice otherwise.

Pretty and Durable

This SAFAVIEH Hand-Knotted Samarkand Olivette rug is way prettier in person. We were pleasantly pleased and excited after we unwrapped it. Great quality too!

Nice rug, it is a very versatile style.

This rug is a nice wool with muted colors. I like quality and color. It does shed, which I am hoping this is just because it is new. I have bought rug by this brand in the past so felt confident in trying them again.

This is such a pretty, soft rug very close to as pictured. The border leans warm gray more than beige with the center being a gentle blue. Throughout the random designs are varied shades of olive green, deep gray, mauve and muted gold. It’s quiet but adds interest, connecting my gray sofa and olive green tufted ottoman together. The 8x10 rug I received measured 7’8” by 9’11” on the longest sides. I was glad to have waited to order a custom rug pad (14”) after. Arrived on time, rolled, undamaged. Beautiful, very pleased!

How to remove the mildew odor?

Every wool rug I have rcvd in the past 2 yrs has been returned due to the odor of mildew. Some were more overpowering than others - a real stench that could never have dissipated. I would like to be able to keep this beautiful rug but there has to be a realistic way to eliminate that unhealthy smell. Mildew is maybe impossible to eliminate but other reviewers do not mention it. It is a close cousin to mold so it is not even healthy.

Beautiful Rug

This is a beautiful rug. The colors are soft and subdued - olive, blue, rose, gold. The center portion is described as blue, but it is not noticeably so. Overall there is very little distinction between the border and center shades. The name Olivette accurately describes the overall light olive impression. Rug is soft.

Lovely soft pastels

This is a beautiful rug which, unfortunately, didn't work for our space. The difference between the edge border and the center of the rug was very subtle, which was different than I was imagining.
