Not 50%wool

I purchased this rug because it was listed 50/50 wool and viscose, but it arrived and is 95% viscose/5% wool. Also, I would not describe the color as silver - it is more of a dark khaki/medium brown. Lastly, the width is 92” not a full 96”/8’ as listed.

Great rug

Loved this rug but my dog had a pee pee accident on it & I could not get the stain all the way out. It's in a low traffic room so the accident was not noticed immediately. Evidently, timing is everything with this textile blend.

A perfect compliment to the master bedroom. The neutral color works very well on our dark hardwood floors. The size worked great under a king sized bed with enough overage to have a place for both sides to step onto when waking up. Goes with most decor due to the neutral color. Highly recommended.

Not the best quality but Safavieh is usually hit or miss with their rugs. Probably doesn't help that the pile height is so low but the design itself is subtly modern and quite versatile.

Please think twice

I've purchased several Safavieh rugs from Overstock. Had this been the first, I never would have come back. It's ridiculously thin-more like a sisal mat, in spite of its wool content. I can live with that. It's *much* more yellow than the picture online would have you believe. I really don't like yellow. And the smell??? This is the worst off-gassing I've ever encountered. Our living room smells like we just loaded it up with about a dozen bales of moldy hay. I'm allergic to fresh hay-moldy hay is nearly unbearable. We live in an apt -I've opened the doors and windows and the smell is still suffocating. And the bumps and rolls? It's like a roller coaster. Nothing is helping and I'm getting tired of tripping over the cases of water meant to flatten it out. If this smell isn't gone by tomorrow...the rug will be.

I’ve owned for a little over a month and it...

I’ve owned for a little over a month and it already has pulls, shows every speck of dirt, and one corner has rippled up so it doesn’t lay flat no matter what I do. I love the look of it, but I don’t think it will be very long lasting sadly

Pretty and Durable

It's really pretty and tight woven. Great for high traffic areas. We are using the runner on our staircase. Definitely brightens up our room!

Beautiful but has its issues

This rug was absolutely beautiful when it first arrived at my home many months ago. Unfortunately, despite its beauty, it's difficult the clean. In addition, it doesn't have the typical backing that most rugs have and so it lacks the heaviness it needs for the corners to chill and lay down. It's still gorgeous so I'm giving it four stars.

This rug was lovely and understated and will fit in well with any decor. The rug was fairly thin, so it will have to be used with a thicker rug pad if used in a family room. Also may not be the easiest to clean because of its texture and fiber blend content.

Accurate Colors

So far this rug has worn well. We have installed it as a stair runner. Colors in pics were an accurate description online. The rug is very thin and great for what we needed it for. I am hoping it continues its good durability and maintains the color.

Stains really easily, but nice and thick - just cant hold up to high traffic in family room.

I love this rug!! It's very modern and the pattern is subtle. We put it in our entry way and it fits the space perfectly. The quality is also better than I expected.

Nice rug that looks just as it does in the pictures. My only complaint is that it is impossible to keep clean. That might be more of a comment about my kids, but every little spill shows up and is difficult to remove.

I had to return it. Great design-would match well with a lot of decor. Rug is an off white/cream with taupe lines that worked great with my decor, however the rug was very thin and uncomfortable. You would definitely need to purchase a thick rug pad if on hardwood. The corners stuck up. I would say this rug would be ideal for a 3 season porch or over another carpet for the look. It's visually stimulating, just not the comfort level I was hoping for in our living room. Quite a few stitches were coming out and inconsistent color stitching which stuck out like a sore thumb given the pattern of the rug. After a few days of laying out, firm wrinkles/bubbles remained, but I did not lay a pad under so not sure if that would help. The corner of the rug is actually painful to step on with bare feet. I noticed a rust colored stain in one area. Not happy with quality control.

Really nice feel to this rug. Because it's a little thicker, it took some time for it to "uncurl" after we took it out of the shipping box. I recommend putting heavy books in the corners to speed up the flattening process.

Love the colors, true gray and white. Super soft. You may prefer a pad under.

Safevieh Marbella Wool Rug

This is a wonderful rug and very well priced. I would describe the color as a very warm grey and likely more taupe than silver but it works quite well in the bedroom where I've placed with warmer grey bedding.

Bright

The quality is nice, but it's way brighter than I expected it to be. The pattern is a little hard to look at. I ended up sending it back because it didn't quite fit in with the room.

It's fine but...

It is what what it is. It's definitely a guest bedroom quality/look -- not a high visible area. I would have returned it if I didn't have another use for it...
