Had to size up for length. Flattering. Love em!

I typically size up for pointy toe heels but had to for these flat loafers, which is why I deducted 1 star. I’m a medium width and these fit just fine. Comfortable and easy to style. The lug sole isn’t exaggerated and these loafers look good with straight leg jeans, cargo pants, denim maxi. I’m sure they will work with other pieces I have not tried yet. The tan in the sole makes it easy to wear a top in that color family and still look cohesive. The lug sole adds an edge to preppy looks.

Too Narrow

My rating is based purely on the sizing as these are lovely quality loafers, but unfortunately much too narrow. I bought my usual size - a size 6 which the label inside the shoe says is a 38.5. The size 7 unfortunately was too big. I was eventually able to buy from the US where they do half sizes and the size 6.5 fitted perfectly.

The Loafer I’ve Been Looking For!

I love these. I was looking for a loafer that I can wear to work with trousers or hanging out with straight leg jeans but also not feel like I’m 90 years old and go to knitting club. A loafer with a little hipness and pizazz if you will… that’s still office appropriate and comfortable. It’s a fine line between too dusty/conservative and too chunky/clunky, or some loafers felt way too heavy. Well, these are perfect. Not too heavy. I got them in both colors. I feel they fit true to size, I have average width feet (I wouldn’t say narrow or wide) and these fit great. True to my normal 8.5 in most all shoes. Highly recommend.

These run small

I was surprised at how small these run. I can barely fit my feet into these shoes when I have socks on. Without socks, though, they are comfortable. I have another pair of Tom's in the same size, so I thought the brand would be consistent. I also expected the toe to be rounder and the sole to be thicker. These look like run-of-the-mill loafers, not very 'platform'.

Cute, but comfort is lacking

I am typically a size 9 in shoes and these fit perfectly in size. They are a little snug if you wear regular socks. I would recommend a no show, light weight sock. I wore them one time and had blisters on my heels so bad. I would suggest getting a heel grip or pad for them. I also hate that Maurices shoes have the slippery material for the insoles. It makes the shoes so slick when trying to walk, making your foot slide to the end of the shoe. I wanted to love these as they have the perfect size heel and are so cute.

Cute and comfy loafers!

I bought these cute loafers in black and then bought the tan ones. I purchased my normal size and didn’t need to size up or down any. They do seem to be a big narrow so I wore them around my house with a pair of athletic socks to help stretch them a bit and that worked for me. They are very comfortable and stylish! Look great with slacks or jeans. Very happy with my purchase!

Run 1/2 size too big so size down!!!!!

I love the look of these, but unfortunately they run 1/2 size too big. I ordered the taupe color in my usual size 9.5, and they are just too long. I tried to order them in a 1/2 size smaller, but the taupe color is sold out in every size except for 10 and 11. I don't want the black ones that aren't sold out, I want the taupe. I found some similar looking shoes in a similar shade (but not as cute a shade as these ones) on Amazon, and reviews say those run 1/2 a size big too, but they are currently available in every size. I'm just going to have to pay $20 more unfortunately to get the ones in Amazon, but it's better to have shoes I won't be tripping over. Unfortunately I'm going to have to return my Maurice's pair since they like to vanity size them. Why vanity size a shoe???? I don't think anyone really cares what their shoe size is!

Cute Shoe, Narrow Fit

I loved the look of these shoes and bought them as a birthday treat to myself. They're very well-made and the material is lovely, but unfortunately, they run very narrow. The toe fit was fine but the back and top of the shoe were painful to wear and walk around in. I tried unsuccessfully to stretch them. I don't think I have particularly wide feet, but I just could not get comfortable in these. Sadly, I will be returning them.

Good shoe, attractive

I ordered these in the light brown/luggage color. I liked the feel of the shoe and they were comfortable, but I wanted a different color. There wasn't enough contrast for me between the leather of the shoe and the area surrounding the shoe and the heel. They were a little narrow, but I felt that they would break in over time. If they had been slightly different, I would've kept them.

So cute and goes with jeans and even dresses, well really with everything!!

These are very cute shoes! I normally wear a 10 in most shoes and 9 1/2 in some. These fit great in a 9 1/2 even with my light socks on.

Cute shoes

I normally wear a size 7 shoe but bought 7 1/2 because I have wide feet. My toes feel fine, but now the back slips up and down. This is my first day wearing them so crossing my fingers I don’t end up getting blisters. Giving a 4 star rating because of the heel slippage . Otherwise, I really like how they look.

So bummed. Way tight.

I've owned toms before. I know they start tight. The length is true to size but the actual shoe is unwearably tight. I ordered a half size up. I tried to break them in at home with thin socks. Nothing. So bummed.

Cute but not so comfy

These are a cute and affordable version of the chunky loafers that I have been wanting! I was a bit skeptical about the tan color but ended up loving them! Rated lower because the sizing seems a bit off they were tight when I put them on for work so couldn’t wear with socks and that resulted in the dreaded blisters on my heels. Ordered some no show socks and cushions for the heel part so that should work!

Loves These Loafers But……..

I love the look and style of these loafers. I’ve been eyeing them for months and finally ordered them. I wanted so badly for these shoes to fit, but they are extremely narrow. So narrow that my feet went numb from the circulation being cut off. I don’t have a wide foot. I never buy wide with shoes. I was going that wearing them around the house would stretch them out, but it’s not helping.

TOMS Cara Platform Loafer

These loafers were extremely comfortable right out of the box. Really, I felt as though I was wearing house slippers. I wore them all day the first day and couldn't believe how comfortable they were. So glad I bought them. This is my second pair of TOM's purchased from Nordstrom.

Love these shoes! My favorite shoe for the season

These shoes are wonderful. I bought size 11 so that I can wear a warm sock. They fit perfectly giving comfort and support. They look great. The lug sole is great for cold weather. It lifts you up from the cold concrete, wetness, snow and slush. I absolutely love these!!!

The shoe I have been looking for..

I have been “eh” about the clunky looking loafer trend, but I liked what these looked like and I have so many pairs of Toms I figured it would be a good bet. I was not disappointed. I LOVE these. Got them in the brown and like all Toms for me, they fit true to size. Maybe slightly narrow, but I don’t think they run super narrow like a lot of people have said. I would say my feet at NOT narrow at all and I think these are great. They are comfortable and super cute with a pop of height that my 5 foot one inch frame could always use. Very happy with my purchase.

Toms Cara Loafer

I love these shoes, I can wear them all day and my feet are fine. I got the black ones and will consider getting the brown ones too! They are well built and will probably last a very long time. I would recommend to anyone to get tired and sore feet. They don't pinch or make the bottoms of my feet sore.

comfy but heavy?

I wear a true size 8 and my feet tend to run a bit narrow. These fit my feet perfectly. They are comfy but I only wore them walking around my house and I felt that I was walking weird.

so comfy - love these

I love these shoes. First, they're extremely comfortable. I am a teacher and I work at a LL Bean retail, so some days I wear them from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. I've worn them without socks and with light socks. They have a very comfy footbed that feels like a supportive and cushion-y mattress. These are my most complemented pair of footwear, and women frequently say they want to buy them. I highly recommend.
