Love this tub and the Build site!
Love how deep this tub is as well as wide (so many have narrow areas at the bottom and expand as they go up - this is equal the entire way).
The worst quality control
Zero stars. What an ordeal trying to buy this tub! First one the the whole bottom corner was bent backward cracking the front. At first I thought it was due to shipping but after closer inspection it was manufacturing defect. They cut the brace that goes behind that area short so there was no support. In addition one of the corners on the top had a giant chip and when you put a light behind this you can see there are many areas with inconsistent fiberglass behind them so the light shines right through. Perfect situation for crack and failure down the road. I ordered 2 of these and both had cracks and imperfections. Build took one back but I had to pay to have the other one hauled away because they wouldn't pick it up or credit me for the disposal. So I lost money on the deal. If it weren't 2023 I would blame this one covid but that excuse is used up. Jacuzzi has no quality control at all. Don't risk it.
Jacuzzi customer service came through
We were excited to purchase this new Jacuzzi alcove tub. Installation was another story. We had a small bathroom remodel so getting the tub into the new location took a few hands. The enclosure was being retiled and that process took a long time so the tub was constantly being covered, but mind you, tile is a big job if you are taking it all the way up to the ceiling. When everything was complete and all of the protective paper and painters tape was removed a small hairline fracture was observed in the corner deck of the tub. It was very disheartening to see this damage after all of the work to remodel the bathroom. Since everything happened so fast, with covering the tub up I'm not sure how it happened or if it was already there when the tub was installed. I called Jacuzzi and they were great to work with. They quickly identified a technician that would come to our home and fix the crack. The first technician had terrible communication and the repaired area remained tacky well after the repair was made so a contractors blanket brushed up against it and the area got covered with blue fibers. It was a very unsatisfactory repair. Upon calling Jacuzzi back and working with the great rep, Destiny, she located another service technician. He did a great job and you can hardly see the repair area anymore. Jacuzzi did say they would replace the tub, but that was an unrealistic offer since that would have meant tearing the tub out and destroying the tile, and the bathroom. The tub is awesome otherwise, very deep, holds the heat; however even with the textured bottom, the surface can become slippery. Overall, the tub is a great addition to our home.
[Rewarded Review] High end contemporary tub
This tub is a major step up from the generic builder grade tubs seen everywhere. It has sharp defined lines that make it a statement in the space and its deep enough to bathe a couple kids. It is tall so avoid this one if you're getting to the age that this could be an issue. The overflow kit must be purchased separately and it is not universal so that did up the cost but it looks great.
Outstanding bathtub!
We're very happy we chose that bathtub. It looks great in our bathroom. The tub is high quality and it shows. We've been using it on a daily basis for months now and it's fantastic! Our girls love its depth compared to the old one.
Less Than A Year After Install Hairline Cracks
With less than a year since install and the tub has developed hairline cracks. We are sick about this. Absolutely sick
[Rewarded Review] Perfect Depth and Style
This tub has clean lines. It was the perfect depth, not too shallow and not too deep for kids. Arrived on time. Crisp clean white. Price was great too. Highly recommend.
[Rewarded Review] Only use this tub
Love this deep soaking tub. Fiberglass, light, easy to install. any nicks or damage, is easily repaired by fiberglass patch if needed.
Good quality resin and glass fabrication
Good finish and structure of the glass and resin, but could be a little sturdier for the price. Too much flex around the drain area, and the foam blocks are disappointing.
Perfect design for a relaxing soak!
It has the perfect degree of angle for a relaxing soak! I’m 5’4” and the length is perfect for stretching out in the hot bubbles and decompressing at the end of a long day. Many thanks for designing this tub perfectly!!!
It is one of the best tubs for the price.
We have installed this tub many times in the past and it doesn't disappoint. Very nice finish. My only Con would be is that it requires a special drain only made by the manufacture and it is a bit difficult to install but looks custom once it is in.
Love about Jacuzzi soaking tub
Finish is great and easily kept clean. The depth of the tub and slanted back makes for an enjoyable soak. Highly recommended and a great price point also.
Such A Great Tub!
I'm absolutely in love with this tub! I bought two of them, one for my kids bath and one for my guest bath and I was very happy with it. It looks nice and clean, it works for any style bathroom and it's a really deep tub which works great with little kids. I love the drain which is super easy to operate with just a push and I love that it's white so it goes with any faucet. I would highly recommend this tub to anyone looking for one this size. I have been very happy with it!
Lovely tub, mold problem
I love this tub really. It’s easy to understand the controls. Not too much and not too little whirlpool action. I wish we purchased the kind that has an opening panel on the outside shell wall . I’m having trouble with mold accumulating inside the shell where the pumps and tubs are. There seems to be humidity accumulation inside the shell space. No leaks though. Don’t know what to do as the manual doesn’t cover this nor cleaning of th e plumbing. Now black mold flakes are coming out of the jets??
Cracked tub after 1 month
I installed this tub less than two months ago and today i noticed a crack in the bottom. Of course the tile and bathroom is complete. Removing the tub would require thousands of dollars and removal of tile etc. Very not impressed with the quality of the tub for the money. There is obvious deflection of the tub when standing in it. I even went through extra installation steps by adding a concrete bedding for the tub to sit in. I did this because the tub felt thin from the beginning.
Jacuzzi Tub
Nice and deep- keeps water warm well. Nice drain feature that is linear to get even extra depth. looks sleek and contemporary. The edges of the tub surface are flat, so the water does not necessarily slide back into the tub when splashed- but that does not bother me!
Beautiful tub...very deep water...
This tub is beautiful. It is a bit on the tall side as far as stepping into/and out-of it. I definitely recommend adding grab bars to the project for safety with this tub in mind. As a soaking tub, it really does the trick. Nice deep water to soak in. One negative: the overflow valve does not seat perfectly, so there is a small gap around the rectangular overflow valve at the ends of the valve. Filling the gap with clear silicone did the trick.
[Rewarded Review] Love this tub!
I love how clean and sleek this tub is! Its the perfect mix of modern added to my vintage country bathroom! The shape and finish is stunning!
[Rewarded Review] Great tub!
This tub is very nice! We've just installed it in our kids bathroom, and still renovating, so we haven't used it yet! But I was afraid of ordering an acrylic tub online, sight unseen. But this tub is beautiful and there were no issues with shipping! In fact, the corners of the tub were secured with foam pieces, so there were no cracks or chips! My only issue is that the Jacuzzi emblem, above the overflow, is off center :/ but it's the kids bath and I won't have to look at it :D Can't wait to finish their bathroom and have them try it out!
[Rewarded Review] Low quality
The first one we got, had a broken corner. The Build.com replaced it (thanks!) and while I was looking for cracks I didn't notice bubbles. It's now 8 months from the time we purchased it and I am ready to install it but it has deformation on the surface. Very visible and ugly. Should I buy another model? That would be a third delivery for the same tub!
