[Rewarded Review] Good Quality for the price

I was very impressed with the quality. The installation was a bit challenging because the mounting bolts are covered in the body of the toilet. I would be best to install this in a space with very good access to the sides of the toilet. My tight space made the installation VERY challenging but doable. The seat mounts in such a way that it can not be completely tightened down. It snaps into rubber gaskets. My client was not completely happy with this but got used to it.

Terrible quality

I just moved into a condo with two American Standard toilets (installed by previous owner). Both toilet seats had small cracks when I moved in. Since then, the cracks have worsened. One evening, I heard a huge crash from the guest bathroom and the lid of the seat had split itself in two and hurled part of the lid across the room. I called customer service to ask which seat I should use as a replacement and that seat isn't even available for almost two months. They were mostly concerned with telling me the seats were not under warranty as I'm not the original owner. Sure, fine. They don't have them in stock anyway. The seat #s they gave me for my toilet model seem to be for elongated seats, but the measurements of the toilets appears to indicate that I need round seats, so I'm not sure I've even been given accurate replacement information. Poor quality and poor customer service.

Seat cracking within a year

I bought a newly completed condo in 2016 with this toilet lid used on the toilet. Within a year the lid had begun to crack starting from near one of the hinges, and eventually spread around to the other hinge in an arc (shown in photo). I’ve never experienced a toilet lid crack like this, and so soon. I have never sat on nor placed any sort of weight on the lid, so I’m not sure how this issue could happen like this.

J’ai acheté une toilette Studio à devant arrondi (modèle 2795004) voilà 9 ans, le siège a craqué et a jauni depuis quelques années. La toilette fonctionne très bien, j’aimerais avoir un autre siège, quel modèle choisir ? Est-ce le modèle 5025B65G ?

2 toilet Seats cracked less than a month

I bought my toilets a few years ago, but same issue, both of the seats cracked right by the bolts! I had intended to replace them right away, but instead just removed to top cover and left it off because of the replacement cost was high , also I noticed the seats shift off center easily & to tighten them more I’m worried it might crack the bowl!

Great toilet, not so great seat

I purchased 2 Studio toilets and love the look and they are not cheap. I have the same problem with the seat lid cracking near the hinges in the lesser used bathroom. Definitely a design flaw as no one sits on the lid. Thankfully American Standard stands behind its products and sent me a replacement seat under warranty.

So far so good. Definitely an improvement on the previous generation that it is replacing. Much better mounting system. Hopefully this one won't crack like the previous one did.
