Ordinary
The photos make this "transitional" lantern appear to be rich, substantial, and special-looking. In fact, the metal and glass are both thin, it is small, and its appearance is no better than ordinary. Quality, I would therefore say, is average. Even discounted, it cost much more than the larger, 20-year-old lantern I was replacing, and installation this week by an electrician cost me $300 more. Next time I will probably make it a point to shop only in-store.
