Actually I used this chandelier to replace a 3 globe fan light assembly so that it matches the other two chandeliers in the viewable area. The fan is on a 9 foot ceiling which allows clearance. The flare above the lamps (no chain or ring used) fit perfectly where the original assembly was mounted.

NOT Lighting New York's fault (their reps are courteous and helpful), but manufacturer LIVEX apparently has no quality control on this line. Received first kit, packed in China, missing the candle sleeves and brass cups. After some communications difficulty with them, Livex eventually shipped the missing parts, but the cups did not fit, and had to be machined out 1/32" to fit over the bases. The fixture looks cheap, but fortunately, we are using it in an upstairs hallway over the stairs, where it cannot be contrasted with any of the higher-quality Williamsburg-style fixtures from other companies. Not worth the price, even if considerably cheaper than the sale price LNY gave us. A small 3-light Williamsburg-style design, available in polished brass. very poor, rough brass finish with several spot blemishes; thin, tinny sheet metal.
