I would have answered 'don't know' or 'N/A' but you didn't provide that option. The product came damaged. The enamel was torn off of part of the exterior. This does worry me that if even I receive an undamaged product that the enamel could still be a problem while it wears.

This is a high quality enameled pot!! I’ve cooked with several Le Creuset pots and this pot performs identically with this Lodge brand pot for a fraction of the cost. A 5.5 Qt Le Creuset is about $320.

Just made a whole chicken on a bed of vegetables in this and it was wonderful. Getting ready to make artisan bread in this pot. Lots of recipes on the internet. Sale price was great!

Nice heavy duty pot. Small piece of enamel on handle chipped. Hoping this enamel will not come off. I cooked pot roast Sunday and the easy cleaning of pot was remarkable.
