The sconces are beautiful, but the back plate does not match the arm and the candlestick. It doesn’t look like the metal same metal.

They look great
The bathroom is designed around an oil painting of a French landscape done in 1983 by a well known artist from London, England. I have done the unexpected with it and used all polished brass fittings and fixtures for this bath. I recently did another bath in the more popular brushed nickel finish that is commonly found now. It was hard to find something stylish in polished brass. These are beautiful. These are not yet installed, so I can't fill any of the other circles with more information. But they do look wonderful and have fulfilled those expectations fully.

I purchased both Hudson Valley sconces and Visual Comfort sconces. They both have pros and cons. In the end, I kept the HV brand because they fit my space better and they had the metal stem rather than white plastic, but I'm still waiting to see if I will get the correct sized backplates for proper installation. This is a beautiful light. Over the past three years I have purchased three sets of these lights for bathroom remodeling jobs. I purchased them in polished nickel. They are elegant, simple in design, and look beautiful installed in both a contemporary and a traditional setting. Well worth the price!
