After Hurricane Helene

After suffering through 2 days of no power, we went to our daughters near Charlotte. We wanted to have something for any future any power outage. I had seen these advertised and decided now was a great time to try them. I. was having trouble at first twisting it to open it up to use the light. After a few tries, I got it! Then it seemed so easy, I wondered why I had trouble at first. Directions were exactly correct. I must have feared I would break it. It was still charged when I received it. That was great! I will probably give more out at Christmas. My daughter and family camp a lot. And they live in FL where there are more storms and hurricanes. As we found out in NC power outages happen here too! We never expected a hurricane to come this far North! I wish I had purchased these before when I 1st saw them! Great product!

Birthday gift for son who lives in London, UK

Good. My son goes camping several times a year, in UK and America so I bought him the lantern/phone charger and the twinkle lights and a few other things. He just called me from his camp site and is amazed at how well these products are working for him. He loves his gifts and was so excited that his phone was actually charging way out in the middle of nowhere!

Poor setup directions good product

The twisting it open is very difficult unless the plug at the bottom is open we couldn’t see any directions saying to open the plug first. We’re elderly and can’t see very well so the little piece of paper was difficult for us to use. We suggest The plug be open, and you simply blow into the lantern instead of trying to twist it open. We’re glad to have it, but sincerely hope we don’t have any climate disasters that require its use.

Love it! Nice, very bright, I like that it needs very little light intensity to charge.

Great light and charger

This lantern has a smart and easy to use design. Small but mighty, it gives off a lot of light and the built in charger gives peace of mind. Have been through a major flood I appreciate the waterproof features as well. I’m looking forward to camping with it, but my emergency kit is better for having it. Need another one for the car!

Broke quickly after only 2 outings

I was so excited about taking this lantern out for fire assignments - and for the first one it was great, i could read a bit in my tent before bed and charge my phone enough to keep it going for my alarm in the AM. However, on only my second fire assignment, it quit staying on. My only guess is something shorted out in there - it will turn on but only for about 10 second intervals. Very disappointing because i loved it at first.

Beautiful soft light!!

This is the best solar lantern I have ever had! It is made out of quality materials that will last, the power button is prominent, and the light is soft and pleasant - plenty bright enough to read by without the harsh blue-light glare of other solar lanterns. I am buying one for each of our children for their camping trips. A great product!

Holy moly! 100 hours of run time?! I am do excited! I live in hurricane land and the ‘regular’ storms are friggin fierce. I am totally sold on these and I now have 3 colleagues who are ordering. Great technology! AND helping people around the world in dire crises! Go women engineers!!!!

Awesome! Beyond my expectations. 100 hours run time!!! I leave them on a window sill, certain they will be a huge benefit in the oncoming horrendous (predicted) hurricane season. I have 2 other solar lamps which are very good BUT THESE ARE BEYOND AWESOME. Totally recommend.

Works brilliantly

We had horrible storms in Houston last night and about a million people lost electricity, including my family. I’d bought two LuminAid lanterns over a year ago unopened. I remembered them and used my phone’s flashlight to find and open them, thinking I could charge them in the car if needed. Surprisingly, they were completely fine. The smaller one was fine, but the Titan was absolutely wonderful. It opened easily and I had no trouble turning it on and selecting a light level It was far better than any of the LED camping light my Scouter husband has. I ordered two more last night since we’re heading into hurricane season and very well may need them. I left a review on my Facebook page for my friends, some of whom do not have generators. A bit expensive, but head and shoulders above any others I’ve ever seen (and my husband had many) and highly functional. Highly recommended.

I'm only able to charge my phone once

I chose the Titan because I'm heading to the refugee camps in western Uganda next month and I want to make sure I have a solar charger that will be able to charge my phone and any other needed items. The fact that this will double as a light is just icing on the cake. Before leaving on the trip, I've been testing the Titans (I bought two, having had good experience with the basic LuminAID light in the past.) to make sure I know exactly what I can expect from them. I'm disappointed to find that I can't expect nearly as much as was advertised.

LuminAID PackLite Titan Solar Charger/Lantern

I had seen these advertised overseas. They are a great combination of light and battery bank. I used it cycling touring to provide a solar-powered battery bank for my GPS and additional camp lantern. It is definitely possible to get 2 full phone charges from the battery. Weight approx 300g which was acceptable, but I look forward to future iterations of solar panel and battery technology getting it even lighter and longer lasting.

Me and my family love the Titan 2-in-1 Power Lantern. Lightweight and gives off an abundant amount of light. The red light feature is perfect for walking along the beach at night time. The solar power source is a peace of mind during power outages as well as the ability to charge your cell phone. I have purchased one of these for each member of my family.

Titan Pack lite 2-1 lantern

My overall experience with Luminaid has been great! The products are so efficient and very reliable in a a power outage. I love the fact that they’re capable of not only being used to shine light but, also charge devices as well. I also love the new & improved twist to inflate design. Customer service was very helpful when the old design proved obsolete & helped me retain a brand new lantern that had the improved design. I would just recommend selling the charging cables separately since they can get misplaced from time to time. The red light feature is a great addition for campers that I wish I could utilize more. Fantastic product overall & I love the humanitarian work this company does overseas for impoverished nations. Keep up the awesome work, Luminaid. We love everything about the company. Highly recommend trying their products. They most definitely come in handy especially, during trying times like natural disasters. Much appreciated!

Unbelievable, fantastic light

I bought 2 yesterday. I put 1 in my front window hoping it would charge since I don’t have direct sunlight, but when I turned it on I was really happy to see it was fully charged. I used it next to my bed last night trying it out. Fantastic is the only word to convey it. We live where power outages are very common. The young ladies that invented this for worldwide use should be given the Nobel Peace Award. I know this is a life saving device for millions of Desaster stuck victims. Also they made it for 3rd world counties where there is no electricity. I am so impressed. I saw them on Shark Tank and knew this was a revolutionary product. Girls, you are AMAZING. I thank you for all mankind.

Perfect addition to Emergency kits

These are the perfect additions for your Emergency kit or lighting in your house due to a power outage!! The wattage will really blow you away. They are the perfect replacement for flashlights that need batteries (& the risk when batteries can go bad and leak) and candles (fire hazard).

Packlite Titan

I love the Titan and purchased one for myself and 3 others for Christmas gifts. One major problem I have is twisting the Titan open. I have small hands and it's very hard for me to get it twisted open to full size. I don't know if there is a trick to make it easier to open or not. I'm leaving it in the open position and daily close it and then try to open it again. I'm hoping that over time it will get easier to open up. Other than that issue it's a terrific product and has already helped me when I needed to fix something using both hands in a low lighted area. I recommend the Packlite Titan to you. If you have small hands just keep trying and you will eventually get it to open.

I love the Titan!!!

I love the Titan!!! I went on a camping trip recently and it worked perfectly fine if not better than what thought and what my friends thought! The self inflating design really caught my attention and my friend's attention as well! The size was just right and the brightness and it's brightness settings were just what i needed! It's red light design was perfect for that type of lighting I needed so that I wouldn't disturb those around me. If I am to nit pick, although i genuinely and honestly love the Titan, I wish that the adhesive used to hold the velcro to the strap would be better. After my first use, I was unstrapping it from a tree limb I was hanging it from and the bottom vecro strip came off, but nothing some extra adhesive can't fix. I love Luminaid's customer service. I shared what happened and they offered to send a replacement. They are honestly amazing! Thank you Luminaid for making a solar light that is perfect for oudoor needs! You guys rock!

Absolutely love LuminAid!!! I got my first one as a volunteer during a disaster response and it held up well. Extremely helpful that I was able to charge it with solar power and was able to keep my cell phone charge while in a disaster zone.
