I have many Lutron Credenza Plug-In Dimmer Switches in my home, but these were a great disappointment. They removed the Red Indicator light that makes it easy to locate the switch when you walk into a dark room. A terrible "non-improvement". Time to look for a new brand. Paul

This dimmer did not work with the lamp I bought at the same time from Wayfair. The associate had told me they would work together.

I like this dimmer very much. It's well made with a good long cord, and it doesn't heat up like others that I've tried.

Lutron still makes a quality dimmer.

With modern LED lamps and lightbulbs, the old resistive dimmers just don’t work very well causing a lot of flickering and uneven dimming. This LED+ solves that mostly. Just need to be sure your problem doesn’t just end at the switch. LED bulbs of lower quality or are incompatible can suffer from flickering regardless.
