Nostalgic

This is truly a woody candle and is very heady, excellent throw and a clean burn plus very elegant packaging. This is beautiful on Summers evening or early Autumn, it really envelops you. For me this candle really evokes childhood memories playing in our treehouse, camping out - deserves 5 stars alone for this! Wonderful!!

Can't go wrong with a Byredo candle

You can't go wrong with a Byredo candle; I have many. Their scent is unique and like nothing you would have ever smelled. There is nothing generic about this brand. Byredo means, by redolence, smells by memory. So think of your memories of a tree house, woods, greenery, or countryside, and you can get a good idea of this candle. If you like leather and the smell of old libraries, then definitely try Bibliotheque !! They are pricey but definitely worth it, like their perfumes.

It's ok

Not the best throw - the brand has others that are much better. It is a small size but still, I expected a bit more.its an OK work from home scent. Nothing particularly special or complex but not offensive. I like the glass votive. Not a fan of the coloured wax but that is their thing.

Good scent but average candle quality

I have a lot of candles at home and although I like the scent if this candle, I will not repurchase because it burns very quickly and also emits some smoke while doing that which looks a bit alarming. I bought this candle from the Byredo website so it is definitely not a fake. I had some other candles burning next to it and they definitely burned better than this one although the smell was lovely.

Amazing

This is an absolutely amazing scent, it smells like woody, earthy goodness and the scent really fills the room and has a great burn time. I'm a huge fan of Byredo products and i haven't met a scent i didn't get on with yet but this has to be one of my favourites.

Very very small

So small. I was really surprised at how small this candle was for the price. I purchased it for a young lady who is a Taylor swift fan and had to get her a few other items for Christmas because this was a very small presentation.

Favourite candle of all time

I am a big candle fan and I must say this is my favourite candle ever. If you like cosy, woody scents this is for you. It reminds me of camping or staying in a cabin. Wearing jumpers and toasting marshmallows. The scent is very nostalgic to me. I think it's a unisex scent and would be a perfect housewarming gift for a couple. Even though it is very expensive it is worth the money....the scent, the heavy glass jar, the black wax....it's very luxurious without being shouty. Mine has just run out and I'll have to repurchase as I can't be without it!

Tree House

It has a pretty complex scent of something woody, a bit fruity, a bit spicy, warm, and something slightly fresh. It’s definitely a scent that reminds you of a true tree house due to its hint of tannins, leather, and tobacco. Some said this even smells like Axe, which is probably slightly true, but it’s more of a complicated version of Axe.

Relaxing scent

I really like these smaller byredo candles, so I can try lots of different scents, but at 18 hours burn time, i'm not stuck with them for ages. This is a lovely candle, not me on paper (not usually a fan of woody scents), but it's a lovely fresh spa-retreat like scent which would be perfect to relax with at any time of year. I love the name and the packaging, looks great on my coffee table.

Love the name

This candle is not me at all on paper, I don't usually like woody scents but tried it due to its popularity, I also heard it was Taylor Swift's favourite candle. I was pleasantly surprised, it has a really good throw and it is really complex. I'd probably say it is a summer scent, suitable for any room. It would make an excellent gift.
