The bed may be solid wood but the wood itself is not very solid. They use short pieces of wood connected by poorly made finger joints. After one year the headboard failed (where it connects to side rail) and today, three years after purchase, the side rail failed. Nice looking but I would not buy this bed.

Super sturdy but not too bulky. Wanted a shorter headboard that would not take up too much space! This is it! fits perfect between two small windows and not overbearing

Arrived with 2 cracks in the headboard. You get to choose from 2 different size legs for the foot of the bed - use the smaller legs if you plan to use a base board in addition to a mattress, which we highly recommend given there are only 3 beds slats.

I have waited to write a review thinking maybe I would just get used to this mattress. But I have had this mattress for over six months and it is the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in in my life. It is like sleeping on a piece of wood.. I’m currently looking for a new mattress because the pain in my legs and my back isn’t bearable.

Do not buy - We had this bed for 1.5 years. The sideboard cracked and split. Teen girl slept on this bed and should have been able to withstand pressure . I shouldn’t have to purchase a protection order for something that is supposed to be quality and durable

Modern bed frame

Bought this for our 20 something son for his first "adult" apartment. It's very sturdy and he likes that it's not a platform bed. It looks classic and modern at the same time. It was a good purchase.

Only had it two days, but assembly was fairly straight forward. Not sure why they include the taller legs if they don't also have the taller support feet. We attached the taller legs and had to take it all apart again when we added the supports since the middle support leg doesn't reach the floor unless you use the shorter legs. We've also had to go ahead and buy box springs even though we didn't need them with our mattress because they don't have predrilled holes for the support slats, so you have to guesstimate where they go, and apparently our new mattress likes to slide off those supports when you sit on it. Headboard is pretty, and it was an easy set-up.

Missing foot board. No proper instructions.instructions provided only for the headboard. I guess I will get a separate box for the foot board with instructions. If not I will have to return it . The side rails cannot be secured to the headboard ,it does not have a locking mechanism.very unstable . I'm waiting for the foot board .

Great Bed, In Stock and Easy to Assemble

This bed fit in really well with the nightstands that I already had. Our bedroom flooded last February due to the massive freeze here in Texas and we were able to save the night stands but not the bed. I was really bummed out about trying to find a replacement that would work with the color of the nightstands. I was even more bummed when I found that most brick and morter stores were out of stock on 70% of their beds! Leave it to overstock to have just the right piece, at the right price and IN STOCK! WTG Overstock.com!

The bed frame was as expected. It arrived in good condition and was not difficult to assemble. It has two sets of footboard legs. One for a lower position and another for a higher position.I had planned to use the higher position, but was unable to. The foundation support boards have posts and it came with only the shorter posts. It would need longer posts to set the bed up in the higher position.

# 1 - Missing bolts/barrel nuts#2 - Missing support legs#3 - Directions were NON-Existent or barely understandable# 4 - Customer Service wasn't helpful#5 - Wish I NEVER bought this bed and will ask for a refund.Sleeping on the floor now because of the missing parts until they decide to mail them to me. I tried to get them at the local hardware store and they don't sell them. What a waste of time and money!

Very nice looking bed and relatively simple to put together. Quality seems good. As another reviewer mentioned, you can only use the shorter legs because the support beams don't work with the longer option. However, we didn't mind because we purchased the bed for our almost four year old and preferred it lower to the ground. Overall, we are very happy and our son loves his big boy bed!

I love the bed but there were several issues with installation. They sent the wrong size boards to hold up the box spring. I had to go buy queen size since the twin boards they sent didn't fit. Not happy about the extra cost out of my pocket. Several of the holes to connect the bed headboard were not fully drilled out. Won't be buying anything again from this maufacture

For the price I would like to have been more...

For the price I would like to have been more pleased. There was a small crack on the front of the headboard but not big enough to go through the trouble of returning. Also, not sure how much weight it claims to hold but it bowed underneath when my husband (200 lbs) laid on it. We will add some more support boards on the frame to give it added stability. Was bought for our guest room so we are just going to keep it, but I would not recommend if you are going to sleep on it everyday.

Bed is beautiful looking and was pretty easy to assemble. I paired it with the Bartz white area rug and Grady nightstands. I only gave four stars because it has some minor damage on the headboard but nothing really noticeable. Also it is a little hard to move once assembled without the side supports slipping out of their slots. Overall a great piece for the price!

Good value but these 2 modifications are needed

It's an attractive bed for a young child-teenager. The basic assembly was fairly simple with only a few steps. But there are two important things you must be prepared-for or you'll regret your purchase. Number 1: You can choose to have the bed lower to the ground or about 8-inches higher and the package provides 2 sets of front "feet" depending on which you choose. The provided 3 center-supports that extend from the 3 slats to the floor are usable ONLY if you choose the lower of the 2 heights for the bed. The lower option is so low that it's possible the top of your mattress will NOT reach the bottom of the headboard and there will be a gap there - which would allow pillows to fall behind the bed. If you plan on using the "higher" of the 2 heights for the bed, you MUST prepare your own center-supports for the slats that run from side-to-side under the mattress. That's what I did: I purchased a 2x2 (poplar) and used a jigsaw to cut 3 center-supports to size. Number 2 and this is also very important: without a box-spring, there was too much space between the 3 slats and as a result the mattress sagged a bit between the 3 slats. I simply cut 2 additional slats (1x4s) to size, installed them in addition to the 3 that were provided and that resolved the issue. For an inexpensive, attractive bed frame that is otherwise well-made, these minor imperfections didn't bother me, but you need to be ready to address these issues. Less

The bed shipped earlier than expected. It was packaged perfectly. No signs of any imperfections. Directions were very easy to understand and all the screws, doll pins, Allen wrenches etc. we’re nicely packaged and the appropriate number was included. We could not be happier with the look and including two different sizes of legs and the foundation boards was unexpected but very nice to have the option. Some furniture we purchased in the past claimed to be white but was more of a cream. This bed is as described. It is truly a white color. Great look for our guest bedroom. Thanks Wayfair!

Very flimsy, needed to buy materials to reinforce

The quality is much less than I expected, even for the price. While "solid wood", the entire bed in 3/4" thick boards which bow and flex easily. The headboard is very flimsy 1/4" plywood which knocks and moves with the slightest motion in the bed. Worse of all, the bed only had 4 slats (cross supports) which is not enough (especially for a king sized bed). And we wanted the higher (taller) of the two settings, and the bed did not come with center legs tall enough to support that height. I spent a couple hours and $**at a hardware store to buy wood for lengths and additional slats. Looks nice from across the room, but not great quality.

They sent the wrong bed frame (Urban) for the headboard (Madison). The bed frame is 3 inches shorter than the headboard and so the bed tilts back toward the head. The supports for the bed frame are therefore too short. My husband was able to fix by going to Home Depot and buying a large support board to place under the mattress. We purchased a 14 inch deep memory foam mattress and so don't see the 3 inch difference. We called their 24/7 customer service to discover it was an answering service. 2.5 days later and still no call from company. Don't buy this bed unless you're OK with the frame not fitting the headboard. Gave 2 stars because the headboard is beautiful. Only gave 2 stars as *** no one has returned call from the 24/7 customer service center.

The bed was exactly what was advertised online. My wife and I were very happy with the bed frame after it was all put together. Speaking of putting it together, it was a breeze. I saw the same type of bed frames on other sites but overstock had it for a slightly cheaper price. I easily recommend this bed frame to anyone and am happy that overstock carried the twin xl so that adults can sleep in the extra room if need be.
