Does not hold pressure
We purchased this pressure cooker for Thanksgiving sale and did not use it for a while. When we did decide to use it, the pressure valve kept leaking steam and would not hold the pressure. We tried multiple times to cook some garbanzo beans and had to open and close multiple times to get them to cook. It wasn't the pressure that cooked them as much as time. We tried 3 times to let the pressure build but each time it would release steam all along and never held pressure. The beans burned and we had to throw them away. I would not recommend this product though it is a nice looking cooker. We plan on returning it. It is defective. Hopefully Macy's will honor their 90 day return policy, if not, we will have to contact the manufacturer for a warranty claim.

Magefesa is magnificently deep
This pressure cooker was not spacious or wide enough, it’s deep so that was my reason for returning it. It may have worked great for boiling potatoes, or long vegetables.

[Rewarded Review] A great pressure cooker
I love this pressure cooker. I have owned several pressure cookers. My mother used them when I was growing up so I am no stranger to them. This pressure cooker is slightly taller with a smaller circumference than the I was replacing. Also the manual is in Spanish. However it performs superbly and the locking and opening system is much mre simple than the one I had. Also the sound it makes is much more mellow than the screeching sound of my previous cooker. All in all it was an excellent purchase
