Poor quality

This set of pots looks very nice, but they are poor quality. They are not nonstick. EVERYTHING sticks! You have to wash them by hand, they come out dirty from the dishwasher.

Stainless steel that rusts?

After about 5 uses (in 6 months) rust appeared inside the saucepan. None of my other pans show any rust whatsoever. Moreover, the warranty is worthless because the submission form sends your information into the ethersphere.

Nice weight stainless steel saucepan

2 Qt is a hard size to find. Saucepan is a good weight. There are some times you need something other than a non-stick pan. Price is good for this type of saucepan.

Attractive and functional.

This pot is so cute and attractive that I sometimes leave it on the stove top rather than putting it away in a cabinet. The lid and handle stay cool to the touch even when the pot is hot. Very functional.

Quality pot

Solid weight on the pan. The handle is comfortable to hold. The glass lid fits well, but I'm still undecided if I like having glass. It is nice to be able to see if something is boiling without taking off the lid, but I am concerned about possible breakage.

After using this new 2 Qt saucepan only once, it has a ring inside it around .75 L from bottom and spots inside bottom. Tried handwashing, machine washing, and using the recommended lemon juice and water combo, none of which worked. We didn't even try cooking anything like sauce in it yet!

The pan is well made and well balanced. You can put it in the dishwasher but I don't recommend it. The silicone handle on the pan and the lid may discolor with too many washes in the dishwasher or the dishwasher detergent that is used may be too harsh for the silicone. I washed it once in the dishwasher and the silicone had some discoloring but I was able to remove it with a handwashing and now it is fine. Well made pan from KitchenAid and very happy with my purchase! I only wish that KitchenAid made more various sizes in this line. They are very good quality pans. I also have a one quart that has the pour spouts. These pans will get white spots in them and it may be from hard water but is easily removed with Bar Keepers Friend and a Scotts soft scrubbing pad. Apparently this is just a normal occurrence with stainless steel pans but it doesn't hurt them. I hope this helps someone that may be interested in purchasing these pans.
