Not recommended for a kitchen
Decent design, however the LED is below 3000 K meaning it casts a yellowish, incandescent light which does not go well in a modern kitchen with high-gloss surfaces. Unfortunately no light color options with this LED - so no up with the times when many lights are adjustable.

Love this Drum Light!
We absolutely love this drum light! It's just perfect in our dining room over our round table. It's LED and installs without any modifications needed. My husband and I installed it in about an hour. It really adds a lot of light and since it's a semi-flush mount it doesn't hang down in the way when you're talking over dinner. Definitely recommend!
