This diverter spout has not been installed yet but the quality is apparent in weight and design.

Purchased online through website. The diverter spout did not block the water flow therefore no pressure at then shower head. Appears there is no rubber stop inside the faucet to provide a tight seal. Will be returning to the store. In the meantime I purchased an inexpensive tub faucet that works.

This spout is so nice, looks and feels so sturdy. After searching high and low for rear diverter tub spouts I finally decided on this one and I was so glad to receive it. I could finally take showers again. However, when I installed it there was too big a gap between it and the wall. It has 1/2" deep threading for the pipe, not 3/4" as described. I was sorry to have to return it because it's really nice and Home Depot carries a very limited selection of rear diverter, but I couldn't use it. I know the terminology isn't right, but hopefully you'll get the picture.

We have a 1956 split/tried level home. Everything in it has to be custom made or shipped. We can't run out and pick up things for repairs like many of our friends and family that have new builds. I found this item by doing a Google search. I am satisfied with spout purchase.
