Way to big and heavy to monuvee easy. Third star is strictly for looks, it does look pretty cool but just not functional. Maybe for a cook a show.

Absolutely love this butcher block! It weighs a lot, which can make it difficult to clean. However, it is absolutely doable and, in my opinion, worth the extra effort. I suggest oiling and conditioning upon first receiving. This will help to ensure the lifetime and beauty of the block. I suggest when cleaning it, you use a pastry scraper to get the liquid off, and then pat dry. You should oil the board once a month, but if you use it often (every single day), I suggest once a week. Definitely one of the most beautiful and functional pieces I have ever bought!

Boos cutting boards

Excellent cutting boards that are a definite plus addition to my kitchen. Used frequently and admired by all they are well worth the expense as they definitely add to the positive side of the cooking experience.

This is a beautiful cutting board, however, next time I would order one that is a bit thinner and has nonskid legs. It’s a bit thick on my counter and I feel as if I don’t have the vertical room to work since it sits on a counter that has cupboards above it.
