I have bought these for a few different bathrooms over the years and have been happy. The rod is 2 parts but the curtain passes smoothly over the divide. It is a simple look and installs well.
Sturdy and elegant shower rod. The only problem we had was that the molly bolts they provided to anchor in the wall did not fit the bracket included in the box. We then needed to use our own plastic wall anchors for the screws to go into drywall.

Beautiful replacement for the builders grade shower rod that came with the house. Heavily chromed and highly polished. Easy to install. Exactly what I was looking for.

It looks nice but the product is quite flimsy especially considering the price. I hope we don’t have anyone swinging from it.
Gatco Shower Curtain Rod is Excellent
Gatco Shower Rod in chrome is a great, high quality, very well made and looks nice. This thing screws into wall so it won’t end up slipping like so many “tension” rods. Depending on dimensions of your shower, you or a handyman may need to use a steel saw to shorten but not a big deal. I own 7 apartments and have gotten this for all my tenants. Very good purchase.

It is not 72".
Nice shower rod, we got chrome, seems sturdy. The overall dimensions are 74-7/8". Without the bases the rod is 72-1/8", each base is 1-3/8". This would have been nice to know up front since we didn't have a saw handy. Tile anchors are not included, so if you can't add framing where you need it you'll also need to purchase toggle anchors. Overall feels sturdy but the inaccurate specs made install a pain.
