Nice light, but challenging design to change bulb
This is a solid light. I dropped a star because to get it apart it says to push on a tab. It does not work that way. You have to fiddle and fuss to get it open another way. Poor design for when I need to change a bulb, up the mast.

So I picked this up last November and put it in the boat. Finally try to use it and it doesn't work, so I verified with 12vdc it will light up with some jumper wires and a spare battery. The connector was wired backward from the factory so I had to drill out the crimp and switch the wires. Not extremely difficult but there isn't much meat there so one day the screw will probably pull out and ill have to glue it. So it gets 2 stars. And yes I did verify my socket was wired correctly. Now we have light at night.

Fit the Attwood 2-pin base, this was a positive! I had to remove the screw from the pole, remove the plastic adapter, and then re-install the screw in the upper hole (per the directions). There's one thing that I discovered during my install, LED lights have a positive side and a negative side. If the light is hooked up with the poles reversed, it will not light up!

Difficult I storing wires
Lite itself is great but install can be difficult storing the wires after connecting there is simply no room in the bottom of the lite after having connectors crimp and keeping them from going inside the wake tower for fear of coming loose and loosing them inside the tube. Unable the snap the lite back. Had to use black electric tape to wrap around the lite to hold in position.
