Just put it together. Can the bottom be any more flimsy? it's literally paper thin. How long is this supposed to last? I'm thinking of putting some kind of 'floor' on it to offset the heat a bit because there's just no way this thing is lasting more than a few months at best

the bottom is very thin, same as the last fire pit we had, rusted out in less than 2 years.
After a lot of research, I ordered this fire pit hoping it wouldn't disappoint... It looks great, a lot like some that were much more expensive at the "home stores" and comes with a cover. It is very practical for us as we can move it easily and use the space for other activities in the Summer time.
Beautiful Fireplace
I put this together by myself. Took about 30 minutes. This fireplace is well made and sturdy. Very happy with this piece and look forward to many evenings by the fire!

I love this cozy fire pit. It perfect for 4 people to roast marshmallows or drink a glass of wine. It gives off enough heat and has a nice cover to keep the rain out. I would buy again!
