Awful! To this day, even with the replacement shower (and eventually replacement temperature regulator) and several calls to the vigo customer service, I have not been able to use my shower. The temperature regulators in this model are garbage. Now I need to find a replacement that won’t require me to remodel my bathroom just to swap the units out. Also, no plumbers in my area are familiar with this product and were at a loss but for the video the company sent. Still didn’t help. The replacement regulator I received didn’t work either. Complete garbage. Don’t waste your money. I am out the money for the shower, and the money for 3 plumbers to come out to attempt to fix the unit. Never again!

Leaking shower head

Like many others my shower head is leaking and spraying water all over the wall when the water is turned on. When the water is turned off the shower head leaks. Also when the shower is on you cannot turn the temperature dial. You need channel locks to adjust it. Complete failure of a product.

Leaking!

I have had this shower tower for Approximately one year and a half, and it is leaking from the showerhead. It squirts out all over the wall and the seal didn’t hold. I cannot recommend this because it’s just a disaster. There’s no pressure in the Jets either. Do not buy

Lousy Customer Service

Unit was bought in September 2023 during construction of a new bathroom. Construction completed in late December. This unit was one of the last things to be installed. We can only get all cold, or all hot water. We had the plumber come back a couple of times to verify that there was adequate water pressure andf check the connections, he isolated the issue to a faulty thermostatic valve.

Exactly what we were looking for

This shower panel hit the spot in two different ways for our master bathroom's shower renovation.

This is my third shower panel system from Vigo. The first and second panel were purchased over 10 years ago. This new panel is the replacement of the first panel, a reasonable life expectancy for daily use. I am very pleased with the new panel. The rain shower feature is awesome and I would purchase again. Using the body jets and the rain shower at the same time is a little disappointing. There is not enough pressure for both at the same time. I have high house water pressure where I live so issue is the panel. I have heard that there is a water saving filter in the inlet line to the panel that can be removed to increase the pressure but I have not removed it yet. I prefer the stainless steal panel over the older plastic version that I replaced. Also, the older version had a mirror, which always fogged up and was unusable for shaving in. Nice thought but not practical. Overall the new panel is well liked by the family.

Visually this panel system is impressive. The hoses are cheap and had to be replaced by customer service as they collapsed/kinked when installed. They had to sent hoses that were a better quality. Our home has excellent water pressure and no complaints for 27 yrs. Once this panel system was installed, the only way the jets were adequate, at best was when the rainhead was turned off. Even at that, we had to install a $60.00 pump just below that room (in the ceiling of the basement) to add more pressure to the panel system. We teeter between this system and another brand and have learned a valuable lesson.

Stay away

I highly recommend not purchasing this unit. Less than 4 years old and does not work properly. I have 2 units in one shower. After a year one of the unit’s thermostat cartridges broke. Called and received a new part. Few months later the water flow of the unit got bad. Still not sure why. A few months after that the other units thermostat stopped working. Now both units Water flows are bad and both thermostats are broken. Why bother buying something with such issues. I have not even begun figuring out what I need to do to fix this all. Buying more expensive units maybe the smartest thing for me to do!! This is coming from someone who never writes reviews and hates bashing companies. Just felt it was the right thing to do as I remember going through all the stress when renovating our bathroom- reading all the reviews for everything we had to select. Stay away!!! I promise!! Spend the extra few hundred dollars will save you money and stress over the long haul!

This panel is fantastic. It does require plumbing to stub out 2 valves for hot and cold water. It could possibly be installed as a retro-fit, but for the best results I think it needs to be plumbed and new tile or shower surround. The clips used to hang this are touchy. If you bend them too far out to make it easier to install, the panel is too loose. If you bend them too far back hoping to make the panel tight, it is impossible to get the panel on. There is a happy medium, but it takes some trial and error. That being said, everything else about this panel is fantastic.

The shower panel itself is great. It seems like a quality assembly. I finally used it a couple of times and I agree with the other reviews, if you turn on more that one thing, the water pressure drops significantly.
