Cute Bed

The bed is cute and has a lot of storage; however, the quality is not what we were expecting at this price point. The bed isn't painted wood. It's just wood wrapped in paper that was already beginning to pill off in places. As we were assembling the bed, an anchor shattered the plywood.

Very cheaply made

I Paid $502 for this bed and when I got it the measurements were off, so my whole bed was un level. I'm guessing the manufacturer did not correctly measure the slots for the headboard pieces to slide into so one side ended up taller than the other. When I put the footboard together I gently pushed a piece down and the wood cracked. For the price it is Definitely not worth it. It is a beautiful bed but needs to be made better. They knocked $50 off my purchase but honestly that wasn't even enough.

I LOVE this bed! It wasn't to bad to put together. Took some time but well worth it! It's held up nicely! I've thought about putting brackets on the inside corners as I've read a lot of people did that just for some extra support! Would highly recommend! I absolutely am in love with my bed!excellent quality and definitely cozy!

Horrible product - very cheaply made

Took almost 3-hours to assemble - not because the assembly was difficult, but because the parts did not fit. I installed the bed yesterday evening, and today morning I have sore throat - something about the packaging or the product caused irritation to my throat. Cheap make - with cracks in the wooden panes provided. Finally - only 5 of the 6 drawers fitted in the bed. I tried for 30+ mins to get the final drawer fit it - but it just wouldn't. Quite surprised that Home Depot would sell such crap

It’s okay

Obviously I love the storage. The issues are the slats. They do not fit right any would always fall out so your mattress would dip down. Or sometimes you didn’t know the slats had come loose so your weight would crack them. My husband wound up drilling the slats into the bed. I know the bed isn’t going to last as long as it should but again, it’s okay. Also the bottoms of some of storage draws are breaking and we only put towels and linens in them.

Overpriced. Disappointing.

We bought this bed (full size). The holes did not line up to attach the metal part with the wheels on the drawers to the wooden side of the drawers. We had to drill holes to put the drawers together. Once the drawers were complete, we were disappointed that they didn't lie flush and secure to the side of the bed. Some of the white paint chipped off the drawers. For the price, we expected the headboard to be included but it wasn't.

Queen Platform Bed

This bed frame and drawers are a great buy. My husband and I were able to assemble with no arguments :). I love the double sided with 3 drawers on each side adding so much space. The runners (pictured) are very smooth, gliding with ease. The bed frame and drawers are one piece so the dresser piece doesn't slide under the bed.

This is the most needlessly infuriating bed frame I’ve ever had. At first it seemed like a dream and met all my requirements. Then the slats started coming disconnected from the girders. This slat design/setup seems designed specifically to torture you, as each slat is slightly too long to fit evenly in the metal guides. So you’ve gotta do an awkward bend and angle dance to get them in. Their length also makes them very precarious, so while installing one two more might come undone. After several attempts at remedying this, tightening bolts, etc. I gave up. Then my bed decided to break completely, with the metal girder shearing clean off the headboard. I wasn’t jumping on the bed or anything, I’ve simply been trying to get a nights sleep. This could all be solved by using the slats that come pre-connected/Velcroed, as is common with so many bed frames these days, but I suppose that would deprive the manufacturer from the joy they so clearly derive from the customers pain. Do not buy this unless you’re looking for a Rube Goldberg-esque slow torture machine that will ensure one restless night turns into dozens.

Sturdy bed with smooth drawers

I was a little nervous about this one as well. Not only drawers, but I'll be sleeping on this. If wasn't solid and sturdy, I'm in for a rude awakening. Literally. It's been great. I put it together without much trouble. Drawers all slide in an out smoothly and perfectly. My only con is that my mattress is just a little smaller than the frame, so you can see in the drawers if it's not positioned perfectly. But with a little spare wood that is easy to fit.

Wonderful new bed.

Instructions were clear and detailed. It probably took 4 hours over a couple of days. I wasn't in a rush. Needed only included Allen wrench, plus ratcheting. screwdriver and battery operated if you want.

complicated to construct

This bed frame comes in many pieces with a million screws so if your not one to construct, this bed is not for you. The frame itself is just ok. There are many quality control issues, like screw holes not aligned properly, two draws did not close properly, a lot if niks on surface and the wooden slats are flimsy and will require reinforcement to support an active 10 year old. It's staying exactly where is was built, in my nephews room. When making a purchase like this I accept that I will likely be stuck with it because to return it would be incredibly heavy and difficult. So buyer beware, its not the worst bed frame but it is certainly not the best.

Decent, sturdy bed for the price

This is the 2nd time I've bought this item, now each of my daughters have one. It was exactly what they were looking for- platform, storage, no headboard, minimalistic. And for me, the price was right. The quality was what you would expect for a bed of this price. It seems pretty sturdy though, my oldest daughter has had hers for about a year and it's held up just fine. I just don't know how well it would do through moves. The instructions were actually pretty decent and we were able to assemble in a few hours without a drill. The drawers were the biggest pain. Two of them were a little rough going in but they're on the side that faces the wall so not a big deal. The only thing I really don't like about this bed is that the silver hardware shows.

All the pieces were there and the bed seems sturdy

I was nervous to make a purchase from a company I have never heard of. Unfortunately, once my daughter saw this bedroom set there was no convincing her to look elsewhere. The website said, free delivery and white glove service with purchase of $300. Our purchase was $642. The order was placed on Sat the 8th delivered via UPS ground on Sat the 15th. With no further mention of white glove services. I did not want to show my disappointment to my daughter so I contact a company to put the bed together with some other work I needed done around the house. We purchased the bed, head board, and night stand. Total time to put everything together was 4hr. The set looks just like the picture. She's happy and so am I!

You get what you pay for

This bed's quality basically matches its price. It's pretty easy for one person to assemble, which I appreciated. It looks nice enough, though you'd never mistake it for something expensive, but we use it in a kid's room so that's fine. The quality is meh - the wood planks that serve as the support for the mattress are not particularly strong or stable, and I worry that someday a large bounce on the bed will cause one to crack. I do have to lift up the mattress and readjust the planks every month or two. Still, it's been in use for about a year and no issues, so as long as you're not expecting the world, it's a solid buy.

This is a 'you get what you pay for' piece. The arrival was what I expected. It came in 3 boxes, not terrible to assemble if you've had some experience doing this before. The drawers do not slide smoothly, some of the pieces came in with what looked like melted styrofoam on them. And since it was particle board, some of the screws didnt go in flush and I didnt want to chance ripping the wood apart by using a drill. Overall nice appearance when the bed was completed and seems to be sturdy enough to last for the next 5 years.

My 11 year old daughter really loves her new bed. It has drawers on both sides, so there's 6 in total. You definitely need a room big enough to be able to open the drawers. All the hardware was included but be careful it's taped to the gray package foam. The instructions were very easy to follow. It was delivered in 4 separate boxes, some of the hardware was in the box with the drawers. They do put in yellow strips of paper to warn you not to accidently throw the hardware away with the packaging.

Good bed

As others have mentioned, it takes time to put it together. That's not a big deal, I had read reviews about this bed and so I expected that. I bought a king size. You do not need your box springs! The bed is slightly larger than my king size mattress so there is a 2"-3" gap either at the head of the bed or the foot of the bed. We do not have a headboard so if we decide to add a headboard then we'll install one so that the gap will be filled. One drawer out of the 6 doesn't fit snug but my comforter hangs over and you can't see it and its a very minor gap. Other than that we really like the bed and the drawers slide easy and it has a nice rich color. Overall we are quite pleased with the bed.

I like the aesthetic and it serves its purpose. It feels sturdy, and I like the drawers. My only gripe was with the nuts that you insert into the wood, which then get a bolt through them. The wood plank has a hole where I was supposed to place the nut. That hole was not deep enough to fit the nut. I had to manually dig out a portion of the wood (not that difficult, but shouldn't have been my problem) to get the nut to fit. I also stabbed my hand in the process of doing that :\It was annoying, and a little painful. Ultimately it shouldn't have been my problem but again it was a simple process and only affected two of the boards. I wouldn't mind buying this again if I had to, but hopefully this was a one time issue.

3 Stars

Bought this full Storage drawer platform bed for three of our children's rooms. The storage drawers are great. Good solution without adding dressers. Only problem is if you put the bed against the wall, three drawers are blocked. I suppose you could put off-season closing in the drawers against the wall. It does require assembly. Be prepared for a few hours of aggravation, but then you you'll be happy with your purchase. Too bad it doesn't come preassembled! LOL I've had these sets now for seven years, believe it or not, and they're still holding up despite the fact that they are not high end furniture. One set did not hold up and the frame pulled apart on one corner. Had to fix with a corner bracket from the hardware store. If this hadn't happened, Would have given four or five stars. Otherwise, the other two sets of held up well.

Happy bed. Happy me.

I am really happy with my bed. I've used it for about a month now and am glad I purchased this one. When I searched for a platform bed, my parameters were for a white platform bed with slants that had drawers. The full size has 6 drawers which helped me get rid of some containers.
