Thought this shower head might be too large for my shower. But once I showered with it, I changed my mind. Its great!

Paint Incorrectly Applied - Flaking off

After one year the pain has chipped off the control handle, the shower head holder, and the shower hose is missing six inches of paint from water contact/spashing from the showers use. What was supposed to be a statement piece now looks shabby, and needs to be replaced, a second unuit we bought at the same time had a leaky valve, which took close to 6 months to receive a replacement for.

[Rewarded Review] Easy to Install and Use

Let me start off by saying this shower head is HUGE! It doesnt sound that big or seem that big until you get it in the shower. Overall the finish is extremely nice and matches the rest of my bathroom very well (In the process of remodeling the whole bathroom), and the main shower head along with the secondary sprayer work beautifully. Its definitely different to get use to if you are use to a traditional shower head. If you have lower water pressure i would stay away from this shower head though. I currently have it on my second floor shower which is the furthest point from my water inlet. It works but you can definitely tell it could have more pressure to work to its fullest. Also if you have to pay for your water usage i would consider that a factor as well. I have a private well so it doesnt affect me as much but it will definitely use more water then a traditional shower head. Instructions could be a little more descriptive instead of 90% pictures in my opinion but if you have some slight plumbing knowledge you will have 0 issues installing this. Packaging was very nice and well secure. Sometimes anything that has the black finish, if not packaged correctly, will come already scratched, this did not have any scratches, scuffs, or damage at all. Overall i would definitely buy again but i would probably keep it on a lower level closer to my water inlet for a bit better water pressure.

This is a nice shower kit. Everything you need is included (except tools!). I especially appreciate the leveler that is on the valve. The installation is straightforward and the instructions are great.

The black matte BWE shower faucet set comes complete with a 1-handle valve. All the components are neatly packaged in a box. The shower combo set includes an elegant looking hand held shower with a generous length of hose. I also like the large (about 12 inches) overhead shower head. Installation took some time as I have to replace my existing valve with the new valve and this require a few adjustments to the plumbing. I already have a ceiling mount shower bracket so I installed the new shower head to my existing shower arm as the new unit does not come with an overhead shower arm. I wished it comes with a shorter shower arm as it will look better with a square black matte shower arm. The unit also has a 5-year warranty. Overall, I like the look and the performance of this combo shower faucet.

Love the look and it rains magically, the internals leak and have to have a plumber add a washer after I already tiled.

Do NOT buy!!

I purchased this product in April 2023 installed by a professional in May 2023 and although I like the design the mixer (part in wall) failed in Nov. 2023. I contacted the company they sent a replacement mixer - installed in December 2023 - the replacement part failed in February 2024. Contacted the company again and they would NOT refund the purchase price - wanted to send a replacement part. No one in their right would try this a 3rd time. Home Depot should ban BWE products. DO NOT BUY

[Rewarded Review] Luxury!

This showerhead is absolute luxury! It is large and provides a great flow. I added an extended to make it an overhead rainfall and wow! I look forward to showering each night. I also added on the filter attachment from my old showerhead and it works perfectly. This kit came with everything needed to completely install a brand new showerhead, including the in-wall components. I didn't need these now, but I saved them for later. Would recommend for anyone looking to elevate their shower experience with a luxury showerhead just like the ones in 5 start resorts, except this one is even better looking with the matte black color. Love this item!

[Rewarded Review] Changing up the shower experience

I was a bit unsure about the rain shower type shower but wanted to try it. And it's really cool! It looks classy and doesn't water stain. I think that the wand is going to come in handy for my new puppy that I just got so he can have nice warm showers. It really is a nice upgrade in the function and look of the bathroom.

Hot Water will not get hot

Purchased and installed. Looks very nice but cannot get the hot water to get hot enough. The directions dont show a way to adjust for making water hotter. Having very difficult time finding support info but online reseach says the cassette might be bad.

Nio Warranty - You cannot contact them!!!!

They say they have a warranty, well this is only true if you can actually contact them and receive a response, usual tactic of we are the best, but make it impossible for you to actually have it work once they have your money. Unfortunately one can hardly rip it out of the wall to take it back to Home Depot and get your money back!!!

We are having great difficulty with the anti-scald valve ...

We are having great difficulty with the anti-scald valve We have a beautiful shower installed and no hot water. Having a hard time getting the manufacturer to assist. Have emailed, called, sent videos and pictures of the problem.

No Customer Service Response

I had this installed and there is only a trickle of water that comes out no matter if you turn it to the handheld or the shower head. I have reached out to their customer service 3 time via email as there is no phone number available with no response. I bought a new cartridge thinking that was the issue (is not) even though it should be under warranty but again no response from their customer service. It is a beautiful shower unit but at this point is unusable.

Installed this myself about a month ago

Install was fairly easy. Ran all the plumbing myself. Equipment seemed to be well made. Very well packaged. Feels like a luxury shower. After one month it’s worked flawlessly. I would recommend and may buy another for my Master Bath.

Rusted

This shower head rusted within 6 months of us installing it. What a waste of money. It looks TERRIBLE. I never wrote a review until now. Should have done it immediately.

Valve is leaking

My contractor during tiling noticed that the valve is leaking. The rest of the plumbing was perfect so literally a bad valve. Very disappointing for the price of this product. This is a big set back for us. Don’t recommend.

misleading product demo video

I bought this specifically because the video showed a “tub spout”. When I opened the box today, I was disappointed to learn that it only had the large rain shower and the hand shower. The material looks sturdy and l like the design, but I bought this over other products after watching the product demo video showing the tub spout.
