I was order this items because I see picture on your web and sure that this is Staub Forest oval but when I received it, really not... I'm really disappointed because the picture and reality are different!!!!

Ungeahnt praktisch und schön

Brauche ich diese Ofenform wirklich? Ja, weiß ich inzwischen. Sie kommt bei mir häufig zum Einsatz, aber anders als geplant. Nämlich um mein Essen bei Tisch warm zu halten. Ich heize die Ofenform im Backofen vor und serviere dann mein Essen darin. Entnehme bei Tisch dann nur eine kleine Menge, lege den DEckel wieder drauf, und so hält mein Essen lange warm, auch draußen auf der Terrasse. Auch für Ofengemüse, Kässpätzle oder Nudelauflauf mit Spinat, jeweils für eine Person, ist die kleine Auflaufform genau richtig. Paare und Familien bräuchten dagegen die Form eine oder zwei Nummern größer.

Really love this beautiful oval baking and serving piece. Limited space in my kitchen so I choose carefully when purchasing kitchenware. This Staub baker can be used in the fridge for storing prepped recipes, in the oven to complete the cooking process, and on the table as a server, that looks great and holds on to the heat. Home run for me!

This is an all around great cast iron baker. The enamel coating means no seasoning and easy cleanup. The matte interior gives superb browning and easy release. Its great on the stovetop or oven and the natural properties of cast iron heat evenly and hold that heat. I love bringing it to the table with the lid on lifting it at the last moment to allow the aroma to reach my guests.

Perfect for side dishes

This baking dish is perfect for side dishes because since it is made out of cast iron, when you take it from the oven to the table, the heat is retained and since it has a cover, it stays hot even longer! I love the brass knob detail which is a great contrast to the matte black finish.

Beautiful, smaller sized baking dish that I use for fish and rice (and sometimes veggies) all in one pan! Perfect for leftovers or a 1-person meal and also great for roasting those Winter root vegetables. It's Staub, after all, so that means heats quickly and evenly and easy to clean, once finished. Place in frig from table; it makes life easy!

I absolutely love this 9 inch oval covered baking dish. It is perfect for a spinanch artichoke dip or roasting some veggies! It has unlimited potential and works great to serve in, as it will keep your food warm or cold.

Cooking is good cast iron is a joy for me. I like that I can sear and fry and roast at high dry heat. This dish is no exception. It's a perfect for a good sized entree for one or for side dishes. The cast iron cooks evenly and heats food to perfection.
