I love the shower door
I received the product early!!! It is intact and undamaged. It was easy to assemble and was up in no time!! I love the way it looks and functions. It is a great door and definitely worth the price!!! Very happy customer!!!😀
Decent door, Delta instructions need update/clarification, ALSO, MAKE SURE TO HAVE ACTUAL OPENING BETWEEN 44 3/4 - 46" FOR A TWO-PANEL SETUP!!!!
Installing a basement bathroom, I'm a newbie, using my old school contractor for whom this was also a learning experience. Used the Schluter Kerdi waterproofed customizable shower base / shower curb (with back and front walls, NOT a three-glass-panel box) ~36 x 48 on paper, however an irregular ledge on the far end of the ceiling (away from shower head) forced the contractor to add a 3-4"-wide vertical column to the far-end of the Kerdi shower curb (using an extra Kerdi curb with two 2x4" stud planks inserted within, and positioned vertically), which LUCKILY cut the effective shower curb / door width to literally 45" - this allowed us to insert the top guide rail perfectly (the wall mounting top bracket slides back and forth to give you the ~1" of adjustability for the 45-46" specified width.)
Absolute Nightmare
I don't even know where to begin with this install from start to finish. The materials are solid and its made well for the most part. Looks fantastic installed, but holy moly... this was the biggest pain in the butt to install from start to finish. Every aspect of installation was frustrating. The installation instructions were SUPER unclear. This was clearly not designed by anyone who has ever done any renovation or home remodeling work (nothing is ever TRULY square). I had to even "extend" the base out by adding a couple pieces of Azek to the front of the base. I am not a novice in renovations and a fairly smart person... this was so frustrating.
This door will NOT fit an opening less than 46"
Everything is good but the track is about 1-2 in short if you install in a 46" opening. I believed in the instruction so I did not open all components in the box before I finish the wall. Now the track is BARELY touch the wall (1/8 in). I tried to slide the fixed glass panel to compensate for the track shortness but it does not work, or it is too dangerous. I don't know what to do now. I wish Delta can improvise some of solid extension piece to slide into the void of the current track or a different end piece to lengthen the track by 1/2 or1 in... I can't let anyone near the door now while I am looking for a solution, too dangerous. I can't return the product since it's been sitting in my garage for too long ...
Door does not close properly
This is a good product. It added value to my bathroom. Although, I have always liked Delta products, and all my plumbing products are from delta. The only problem I have with this shower is that it doesn't shut properly and it causes water to leak from the door when taking a shower. The seal gasket on the shower door doesn't stick to the other end of the glass. I will highly recommend Delta to use magnets or something that can help the door stay completely closed to avoid water from leaking when taking showers

Terrible, halfway threw the installation realized the support bar is 44inch as opposed to the 48inchs advertised on the box. Extremely miss leading. Such a difficult time trying to repackage everything and return it to Home Depot. I called Delta before returning. I was told by a representative that

I like it but will be returning it tomorrow. I bought it along with contractor who was going to install it. After unboxing contractor found actual dimensions were 3 inches shorter than label in the box.

Bought this product shower enclosure and and had it professionally installed ....the sliding door does not stay completely closed....no magnet to hold it close...water leaks out onto the floor about a pint of water per shower! The water strip across the bottom where you inter the shower doesn't touch the glass and directs the water out of the base onto the floor...TERRIBLE DESIGN!!! I will call delta help line and see if a have made a change to prevent this...If not DO NOT BY THIS PRODUCT...OTHER PRODUCT MANUFACTURES HAVE A MAGNET TO HOLD THE DOOR SHUT AND PROPER WATER STRIPS THAT KEEP WATER IN!

I'm a little dismayed at the reviews, mostly because the negative reviews are either due to bad shipping or incorrect installation. If the door isn't plumb, it won't stay closed. For a semi-framed setup, you're not going to be able to completely water seal it. You pay for the the looks. Shipping problems happen, but I agree it's a pain to deal with.
[Rewarded Review] Very good-looking sliding shower door
My wife and I run a small property business in southwestern Pennsylvania. We buy, renovate, rent, and sell homes. I am the licensed contractor of the outfit and head up our small work crew. In the older houses that we work in, there’s an enormous need for updating bathrooms and kitchens and often, making the bathroom slightly larger or changing the rooms around in any way requires extensive renovation and structural framing permits, which adds time and expenses to our bathroom renovations. We tend to work within the walls we have, and that usually means working with small bathrooms.
