The doors look great from a far but A LOT of imperfections once youre within 3ft of the door. A LOT of rippling in the finish on BOTH doors which looks absolutely horrible. Speaks to the quality and durability, not sure what to do with these now...Would not recommend

Huge gap between rails/overlapping doors.

Bought two 32x96 Quadro 4002 bypass doors for 59x95 opening. The gaps between each door and between the frame were so big I could easily see into the area I was trying to cover. I contacted United Porte, provided pictures, and spoke with Johnny (sp?). He confirmed proper installation and was surprised the gaps were so large. I figured I'd have to buy larger doors. He wasn’t sure what size would work and said he would research and get back to me. Never heard back and now I’m stuck.

Requires you to cut grooves into door!

It was a challenge to install but not that bad. Instructions were very confusing even though I am fairly experienced. But the worst part is that the last step tells you to cut grooves along the length of the bottom of each door. With what tool? It tells you that you only need screwdriver and other basics. This should have been done at the factory. Without cutting a groove, you can't use the bracket that keeps the doors from swinging out at the base.

Very nice finsh with attractive brushed stainless hardware. Rolls smoothly its a heavy door.

Soild pine door with a nice finish. I checked with the manufacture, You can remove the screws in the bottom to cut a groove for the door to track on.

Stunning. These doors are beautiful and add class and finesse to the room. Easy to install, gtreat price.

Our barn door didn’t have the slot at the bottom...

Our barn door didn’t have the slot at the bottom for the support piece to go through. We had to essentially re-build the bottom portion of the door to cut our own slot. Super inconvenient and I now hope it holds up.

The product is okay, but Home Depot is the worst...

The product is okay, but Home Depot is the worst organization in the market. They say that they support Military, but cap the Military spending at $400.00 per year to get the discount. Lowe’s would never do that. Home Depot’s Marketing Group should be ashamed of their promises, with reduced commitments to our Vets.

I was nervous about buying doors online but gave Home Depot a shot. These doors are as beautiful as they look and fit the space wonderfully. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Lovely door, came packaged well and undamaged. I would give it 5 stars, but we found when we went to install it that for some reason there is a row of screws in the top and bottom…that makes it so you can’t alter the door in any way…including routing out a slot for the door guide at the bottom! So…a month later and i’m extremely happy with my door…but unhappy that we still haven’t figured out how to install a correct guide at the bottom to keep it from swinging or getting stuck on a slider. And, we’re not willing to take out all those screws to see ‘what will happen’ for such an expensive door. so, fyi, this door cannot be cut down from either top or bottom, and you will be unable to use the included hardware for the stopper at the bottom.
