Overall this shelf went together pretty quickly and the assembly was pretty easy. I didn't get the clips to "click" closed and am not sure if they are suppose to but I got them on the post and the shelve securely on top. So far, so good. I don't have anything too heavy on them at this time.

42" wide - not 48"
Other dimensions standard. Way too expensive. Last shelves we bought were 18"x72"x48" and less than 100$. The expedited home delivery arrived when they said it would, but box was shredded, paint was chipped, and a couple of the mounting sleeves were caved in and had to be straightened out before I could finish assy. If my wife wasn't in such a hurry and willing to make do, I would have sent it back.
