Great modern faucet!

Really like this faucet. It is very functional, modern and elegant. The installation was a challenge. The water lines come with the faucet. However, the connections were the wrong size for my shut off valves. For many folks, that won’t be an issue…however, I had to find an adapter with really no instructions.

High quality kitchen faucet

I installed this almost 2 years ago and couldn't be happier. Originally I was concerned about the amount of plastic used throughout, but it looks just as new as the day it came out of the box. Install was easy, and after all this time my only gripe with the faucet is the soap dispenser. I have a 12 and 15 year old, and I'm honestly shocked neither of them have broken the spout the soap comes out of because it's made of plastic and just doesn't feel all that substantial. One extra positive thing I will say about the dispenser is you can easily remove the pump mechanism from the top, making refilling possible by either removing the pump or by unscrewing the reservoir from the bottom. I had no idea this would be such a positive until I installed it and saw how little room there was between my oversized sink and the back of the counters. I have pretty hard water, so I usually soak the end of the faucet in CLR every 6 months or so to prevent deposits from accumulating. This hasn't caused any discoloration at all and I haven't had any of the small nozzles clogging like my old faucet and shower heads do. Depending on the situation under your sink, you may need to rearrange a bit so the counterweight that pulls the faucet back to position doesn't get hung up on anything. Overall, my wife and I are very happy with the faucet.

Broke after 1 year

Faucet dismantles itself after a period of time... specifically where the rubber hose exits the base to make the loop... I am rather disappointed at this and wish I could seek a warranty claim on it.

Love It!

I've always wanted a faucet like this and when we remodeled our kitchen I finally insisted that I get it. No regrets whatsoever! It was pretty easy to install and very easy to use. The soap dispenser is easy to refill and pumps really good. I like how easy it is to pull out and put back. I wasn't sure how easy it was going to be to keep clean with it being black but it's very easy keeping it looking new. I am over the moon with this and am kicking myself for not getting it years ago. Highly recommend!

Good faucet, not sure about longevity

Install is straightforward. The faucet has a nice look to it. But, it is not very well made compared to my old faucet. Lots of cheap plastic. But, this is a stopgap until we remodel the kitchen. Then we will find a much better quality faucet.

Pretty but design causes annoyance

So far, this faucet seems to work well. The water pressure is very good. I can pull the faucet down towards the bottom of the sink. But what's super annoying is that many times, when I try to pull the faucet down or out of its holder, it is slightly stuck. There is a metal lip on the faucet head that catches on the metal arm (holder?). I feel like this could damage the faucet one day. And for this flaw alone, I give this product 3 stars. When I pay almost $300 for something, I expect the design to be thoughtful.

Low water pressure

I bought this faucet based on the look, function/form and reviews. However it has not pressure. My husband wants to return it. I have only had it about 3 months.

Happy

I hadn’t read the reviews until after I purchased this and then I became very worried. However, it has been perfect! It works and looks great! So maybe the company is improving? I’m not sure but this was a great faucet at an affordable price.

Exceptional

Installed 03-01-23. A fine piece of workmanship. More satisfied with this item than with any other recent purchase for home. If only the Amana Dishwasher and the GE Refrigerator performed half as well as this beautiful faucet. A tiny amount of water will drip after use and this is normal. It is beautiful and makes me happy just looking at it.

Awesome

Our White faucet broke, couldn't find anything suitable in white, looked at this and fell in love. Love design. White sink, black granite counters, this is perfect design and color. It's been weeks and I still smile when i see it. And it's a quality product. Plumber easily installed.

Faucet 87802BL Loose

This review is a follow up to a review on 2/13/23. Moen sent me a faucet replacement since we could not get the first faucet tight it got loose again within 24 hours after use. My plumber installed the replacement faucet in March 2023 and today the faucet is loose from below. This faucet may be too top heavy and it becomes loose. This has never happened to us before. I will be calling tomorrow to discuss.

Low water pressure

I was misled by all these good reviews. This thing has terrible water pressure. It started out ok but kind of low, and then continued to get weaker the more we used it. Then it would randomly fluctuate. It might have been an installation problem. Ultimately we returned it after 2 weeks. It looks comically large in person. It's a few inches taller than other faucets of comparable style. We got a different brand to replace it and the water pressure is wayyy better.

Beautiful

I purchased the Moen Gooseneck faucet in 2021 and after 14-months the faucet came loose from the base. We kept tightening the hardware and a few days later the same. After several times to attempt to tighten the bolt we gave up and called Moen. Well they sent us some hardware which we changed out and it did absolutely nothing. We need a full replacement of the faucet. It looks beautiful however it should of not broken so soon.

Moen Bad Customer Service

Purchased the goose 87802BL gooseneck faucet exactly 1-year after installation the faucet becomes loose and had to tighten it several times however keeps coming loose. I called Moen and they want me to replace the inside mechanism so if it happens again they can send another faucet. I wont be buying this brand anymore instead buying a cheaper brand that needs replacing every couple of years. If you want it to last just don't use your kitchen faucet.

Good purchase. Very easy to use.

I really like this faucet. The ability to pull out and move the sprayer has really been a huge benefit. I am now able to wash my big stock pot and it is soooo very easy to fill up pots and the coffee maker with the extending hose. I like that there is a switch to change from a regular stream to the sprayer. My last one I had to hold the sprayer all the time to use it. As I have arthritis, this was difficult for me. This one you push the button and that's it, no need to hold it down.The only draw back was that it was not in stock in the color I wanted. So I had to settle for the color that they had at the store.

Sturdy and aesthetically pleasing

I just installed this kitchen faucet yesterday and so far I am really pleased. For one, the installation is easy that even someone like me with very little to no plumbing knowledge was able to do it. All of the parts feel like high quality. Secondly, I think the aesthetic of it is very stunning and modern. I chose the matte black which I feel looks great with my sink. What I really appreciate too is how the knob to turn the sink on has resistance. With other sinks, it’s hard to not throw the water into full pressure whereas this one offers some push to easily be able to find the desired water pressure.

Great faucet

This faucet looks great, is made with quality components, and designed in a way that makes it easy to install (even if the instructions are a bit weird… not bad, just weird). I was looking for something that matched my matte black hardware, but also matched the general shapes of other plumbing fixtures in my loft and this was the winner. It’s been a month and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. Also, a lot of reviews mention the plastic nozzle. Knock it off with worrying about the plastic nozzle. It’s super sturdy, works extremely well, and since it’s light weight you have zero effort involved in pulling the faucet down to rinse dishes. Heavy does not always equate to quality.

QC from Moen could be better

Installation would have been a breeze except the provided nut didn't have the thread to match the shaft and washer to complete the countertop installation. I watched the video and it showed to be hand tightened but I couldn't get it go go past a certain point without a wrench. I used the provided plastic tool and it wouldn't go up any further. When I tried to loosen it to bring the nut back off to re-inspect it, the whole shaft came off. I searched Lowe's for approximately 45 minutes for an identical nut (or even one with the same size thread) with no luck so I went to customer service and provided an unopened box. They were more than happy to give me the one from the box I took them. Kudos to Lowe's customer service for saving me from the even bigger headache of bringing the whole thing back as everything was laid out throughout my kitchen. I'm also unimpressed that the hose and attachment to the nozzle are plastic. for almost $300 I expected anodized stainless but I hope it lasts longer than my previous Moen that came installed in our new construction home. The (plastic) switch from stream to spray broke on it and we were stuck with stream until the (plastic) hose began to leak. I hope this design lasts us much longer than our previous one. It certainly is a beautiful faucet aside from all the potential flaws.

weak at the point of attack

All and all it is as described. My only complaint is the method of attachment. This method leave me wondering how it will hold over time. In my opinion it needs a larger mounting surface area. If your puttint it I to a very solid sink it should be a great fixture. If your mounting in in a double stainless that jas some flex be prepared to do some adapting. Fixture works welland looks hood. But built for hardened tops otherwise it pretty good.
