Defective product

I ordered 2 Delta faucets last April 2024 for our kitchen and bar sinks. Our contractor was not able to begin the remodel until August 2024. When our plumber installed the kitchen faucet it was defective and will need to be replaced. I called Lowes customer service to explain the situation and was told that I am outside of 90 day return policy and will not be able to get a replacement faucet. Since I purchased 2 Delta faucets of the same style (one for the bar area and one for the kitchen sink), I need to go with the same faucet. Not only do I have to replace and pay for the defective product again, I will have to pay the plumber to de-install and reinstall it again. This is the last time I will purchase a Delta product or use Lowe's!!!

Piece of junk

I had this faucet installed about a month ago. It is a very nice looking faucet and the pressure is great. For about the first two weeks the faucet worked fine, however in the last two weeks the lever used to turn the water on and off becomes loose with use and eventually falls off when you go to turn the water on. If cooking for long periods of time with repeated turning on and off of the faucet, the lever quickly becomes loose. This is extremely disappointing as I had a previous Delta pull out faucet that lasted over 10 years so I had no hesitation purchasing another Delta product. Please avoid buying this product until this defect is fixed. I am now stuck with this piece of garbage and not sure how long I’ll be able to stand this.

Once you have this sink, you will judge all other sinks. The simple touch to turn on/off is so nice. It's an upgrade with a very sleek design. I do believe it's been a cleaner option / while I still wipe down the faucet every week, it's noticeably less dirty than a standard faucet. Even the boys find it fun!

I can’t believe how many positive reviews this faucet has. It looks nice but the touch feature is horrible. It is way too sensitive and it frequently turns offon just with a graze of a dish towel or how you let go of the handle when turning it on. If you don’t touch or let go of it just right it turns on and off in a split second. We host a lot and when anyone helps clean up they get confused in how Tobias it cause it’s way too sensitive.

Love this faucet!

Works wonderfully well. My previous faucet was finicky to make sure it was fully turned off. There's no question that it's off. I also love that I can leave it in a position where the water temperature mix is just right and simply turn it on of off without having to adjust the temperature.

It eats a lot of batteries and though it was once easy to switch between stream and spray on the nozzle, it now requires two hands. I thought perhaps it was calcium lime buildup in the mechanism but I cleaned it with a vinegar soak with no improvement. I no longer use the touch control feature as I was always turning on the water accidently while trying to clean the sink or move things around the sink.

Easy to install faucet

The faucet was well packaged and the instructions were relatively easy to understand for multiple installations. In general, it was easy to install. A helper is very beneficial, but could be done solo. The faucet retainer is much easier to secure vs. the large nut / screw combinations.

Not a great buying experience-twice

Purchased one, the base section was a different finish (yellowish) than the top gooseneck piece. Had to purchase another one, return the first and then install the second. In all installed two taps by the end of it. Second one is the right finish/colours but the top swivel gooseneck section seems loose. Wiggles up and down. The first one was tighter. Not loving it but don't want to uninstall and re-install another tap. Great warranty on these units is why I went with Delta but not a great buying experience.

We've had this going on for almost 3 maybe 4 years now and it's incredible. Haven't had any issues with it. Coincidentally my brother purchased the same one for his own house and they love it too. I constantly tap other people's faucets in their kitchen thinking they too have this masterpiece of a faucet. Keep your eyes peeled when the price dips down and order one!

We LOVE this faucet! It was very easy to install. I watched Delta’s YouTube instructional video for step by step instructions. It works great and looks so sleek and modern. Just a warning - you will want a touch faucet on every sink now!

UPDATE - a couple other reviewers have reported that the pulldown spout RUSTS - I just noticed the same problem. Was NOT happy about this, but went to Delta's warranty support site, sent the photo via chat & they're sending a replacement magnet. Still seems like a dumb issue to run into on an otherwise high-end faucet, but they're standing by the product.

Very functional faucet with sleek design

There are many touch activation faucets out there but only the Delta Essa checked all the boxes. No worries of an aimless sensor turning the water on at the wrong time or shutting off when you need it most. Sleek and functional!

I love this faucet!

I love this faucet so much I’ve bought it twice! We moved a year ago and the new house had a dated, leaky faucet. So I ordered the same one we’d put I the last house. That’s how much I loved it. It’s sleek and timeless. Installation was a breeze. The touch is so convenient and the sensor that indicates water temp is an additional feature that I never knew I needed. Get the plug so you don’t need to worry about the batteries.

I purchased this faucet 3 years ago, and it is already rusting. The pull down head is rusted and warped. I've tried contacting Wayfair, who told me I had to contact some random 3rd party to get my warranty claim started. I've tried contacting that company, but haven't received any response after about a month. For the price, I wouldn't have expected this to rust and warp so quickly.

Overall seems to be made well. Comes with hardware needed for installation. My home is 15 years old and everything hooked up easily. Touch feature works well. Comes with 6 Duracell batteries. I’ve been using for 3 weeks and works properly. Even if you are mechanically inclined the instructions are very basic and no instructions if you are using the escutcheon 3 hole base plate. None of Deltas videos show how to use the escutcheon plate. Hard to get faucet tight enough without bending the plate. Still slightly loose. But overall I think it’s a nice product but very little instructions and factory packaging is lacking. Too many loose items moving around in box.

We just remodeled our kitchen and this was one of the best purchases. Heavy duty, great retraction of pull down faucet. It uses a weight to retract rather than a magnet so it feels nice and sturdy. I wasn’t sure how much I would use the touch technology to turn on and off but now that I have it - I could never go back. Buy it! Looks great and is worth every penny.

I was expecting the sprayer on this faucet to at least work as good as a $20 faucet with a sprayer but no, the minute you switch it to spray, your clothes are covered with water because water is flowing so strong from the spray and when it hit the dish or whatever you are washing it would splash water all over the place. Overall terrible design for something that expensive. Not happy at all with this purchase.
