Not worth the buy! Battery won't last!

I loved this item when I first made the purchase! Great concept and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to music in the shower. Unfortunately, the life of the battery is shortlived and will last just long enough to end the warranty. Kohler doesn't offer repairs to the speaker it's self. And their only solution they offer is to sell an entire new shower head at their factory cost which is 50% more than other big brand online retailers. Great item if don't mind purchasing a new one every 1.5 years!

Bad functionality

I bought this 4 months ago, and it has never worked properly. Even chatting with customer support, following all instructions and using the app, it will not connect via WiFi, which is needed for Alexa. I tried splitting my Wifi into 2 bands, and it didn't work. It finally allowed me to setup via Bluetooth after repeatedly not working, but my husband (who has the same phone) gets an error message.

Musical Showerhead!!!

I received my Kohler - Moxie showerhead with speaker today. When removing it from the packaging it looked and felt like a quality product. The product came with the showerhead, detachable wireless speaker, charging dock, charging cord and some Teflon tape. The installation of the showerhead was very easy and only took a couple of minutes to swap out with my existing showerhead. Once installed I downloaded the Kohler Konnect app and paired my Bluetooth to the speaker.

Finally something that works!

I have recently gotten my hands on the Kohler Moxie. This was inspired by two phones and bluetooth speakers that suffered water damage from playing music/watching videos in the shower despite the waterproof rating. Personally, I am quite particular with sound quality that’s why when I saw the Moxie, I figured I might as well give it a shot. Does not hurt to try.

Absolutely amazing!! This thing sounds great! By far the best sounding Bluetooth speaker I've owned, but to have it paired with a shower head at the same time is brilliant! Installation and setup was super simple. Paired easily with our iPhones. There are three buttons on-board; Power/Pairing, Play/Pause, and Skip to the next song. The center section is magnetic, so when it needs a charge-up, you simply pull on it and it pops right out of the outer shower "ring" and then you can place it in its included changing base. My kids were perplexed as to where the sound was initially coming from when I first showed it to them. Now, I hear them using it every time they take a shower. (Hopefully they don't start taking longer showers)! The shower head part is great as well. Standard style shower stream (one spray pattern).

Awesome!! I absolutely love this Bluetooth shower head. Kohler and Harman Kardon really pulled it off with this one! Very easy installation with nice instructions (even comes with plumbing thread tape). Once I had this installed the sound blew me away! Great audio quality from such a small speaker, especially inside a shower where things tend to echo, the sound is impressive. The speaker can be detached and taken anywhere, near the pool, to the beach, anywhere. Easily attaches via magnet. The charging dock is also really cool, it sits on the dock to charge and play music at the same time... Now on to the shower head itself... Great flow, sleek looking, easy to clean. Powerful spray pattern is much better than my previous shower head and uses less water! I would totally recommend this kohler shower head to anybody. Did I mention how good the speaker sounds??

To be honest, I’m a bit torn on this Kohler product.. On one hand this Moxie speaker is quite decent, but on the other I expected a bit better sound at this price point. Yes it is also a showerhead, but considering the bulk of the cost is in the speaker, I had higher expectations. It is clear and gets quite loud maintaining clarity, loud enough to fill most bathrooms with rich sound minus the bass. There is some bass, but it’s no Bose. I did get the Kohler Konnect app on my iPhone, but after realizing that it requires setting up an account with Kohler, I decided to not use it just yet. The speaker does connect via Bluetooth without the app just like any other portable speaker I’ve used before. Long 5 second press on the ON button turns the speaker on and puts it into discovery mode. In the phone’s BT settings it is seen as Moxie. There are four buttons on the speaker: [ Power ], [ + & - ], [ Pause / Play ].

This is a pretty cool shower head and speaker. The build quality seems to be very good. The shower spray and pattern is quite good. The speakers sound quality is very good. The shower head is very easy to install, just unscrew the old head and screw on the new head. There shower head has no adjustments for spray style or pattern. The speaker is held into the shower head with a magnetic attachment, to remove it all you do is pull, to reinstall just push it back into the hole.The charger could have been a little bit better design, there are 2 pins that have to connect to 2 contacts on the speaker, lining them up is a little bit difficult as there is not a good way to know if the speaker is positioned correctly in the charger, you can feel it set on the pins, but not easily.

If you like to listen to high end music or even quality news when you shower this Kohler Moxie is the perfect answer to your needs. While the whole unit is a lot more weight than I care to put on a overhead shower arm given reasonable care it should provide many years of use. Everything is included short of a few feet of Teflon tape to insure a leak-free connection to your overhead shower arm. This is a blue tooth speaker which pairs very easily to other Bluetooth enablers. Depending on usage you will have to manually remove the speaker and recharge the speaker unit via it’s supplied USB charger. The whole speaker is quite attractive and will blend with all bathroom decors. Makes a perfect bathroom accessory to have or give. No more countertop clutter having to use a portable table top radio and now I can finally retire the old am/fm radio and free up more bathroom space.

I am already a fan of Kohler products, but I think this KOHLER Moxie 1-Spray Patterns 2.5 GPM 5.75 in. Wall Mount Fixed Shower Head with Speaker in Polished Chrome is the coolest product they have ever made! It fits on any standard shower head pipe, and all you need to do is unscrew your old, boring shower head, and screw this one on. The Harmon Kardin Bluetooth speaker (one of the top names in quality stereo equipment) fits by a magnet into the shower-head ring. You remove the speaker to charge it up, then slip it back into the ring and turn it on. Pair up your phone to the speaker, and now you can play your favorite MP3 music through the phone and out of the Bluetoot speaker! The sound is just pure awesomeness! Rich, clear sound! Oh man, I love this thing! Thanks Kohler, and Home Depot!

It' s a nice, good quality shower head and speaker in one. It is a bit gimmicky but also practical. So, the packaging is very nice, a strong good quality box which opens out sideways. The box has a charging station, cable and shower head. The speaker is inside the showerhead but pushes out easily and so you can shower while the speaker is elsewhere. The shower head is around 7 1/2 inches and puts out 3.5 gallons per minute It is a screw fitting and so only takes a minute to install. The head is only as good as your homes water pressure. Okay now for the speaker. There is an on button which if you look closely you can see it. It also has a skip button. I used my iphone and connected to Moxie in seconds and was playing Iheart radio in less than a minute without even reading the instruction book. The sound is pretty good for a small speaker I controlled the sound with the up/down buttons on my phone. Overall, it is a nice speaker /shower head.

Wow! This is the most fun I have had in the shower for years! By that, I mean that now I am singing in tune when in the shower thanks to the wireless speaker component of the shower head. The wireless connection was seamless and took a matter of minutes. I have paired it with both my laptop and my phone. Once accomplished, you will be amazed at the sound quality that comes out of the shower.

I had the opportunity to install and utilize the Moxie 2.5 gpm Showerhead And Wireless Speaker by Kohler in my master bathroom. Installation of this showerhead could not be any easier; simply twist the main spout onto your existing pipeline, tighten, and install the charged wirelwss speaker unit into the designated cavity. This showerhead pairs via Bluetooth technology and is utilized with the Kohler Konnect app; also very simple to navigate. Once paired, it took me almost no time to learn the functions (play, pause, voice command, answer phone call, etc.). I love that I am able to utilize the Moxie to listen to podcasts or my favorite playlists during the shower. The Moxie Showerhead And Wireless Speaker is super versatile, as you can pair it to your favorite Alexa devices, and can even utilize it to answer/decline incoming phone calls. Although the wireless speaker always lasts way longer than my shower, it is a downfall to have to charge it after only a few uses (comes with a USB-enabled charging base). I find the overall sound quality to be pleasing and quite crisp while listening to my favorite tunes, although a bit of distortion is noted during phone calls, as to be expected when the sound source is surrounded by flowing water. The actual 2.5gmp water pressure and flow pattern of the Moxie is satisfactory, although I do wish the actual showerhead had more flow patterns to choose from. The silicone components on this showerhead make cleaning a breeze! A great plus to this showerhead is that the wireless speaker is so easily removable, that it could be utilized at the beach, near the pool, or anywhere that music is desired, really. Overall, I am very pleased with the technology features and cutting-edge design of the Moxie 2.5 gpm Showerhead And Wireless Speaker. If you are looking for a showerhead that is well-made, fun and boasts great water pressure, Kohler will not disappoint!
