We installed a total of 18 lights over 2 days in 3 rooms. in the last week Connecting the lights is a breeze. The only hurdle is when you dont have an attic above and you need to be extra careful where/how you drill the holes in the joists to route your wires. Consult a pro if in doubt! The lights transformed the look of our rooms, creating a uniformly lit experience that can be accentuated with table lamps etc. Definitely use a dimmer switch and add more lights than you think you will need as the dimmer can adjust the ambient light. 3 choices of color temperature and we set it to the warm (yellow) mode. Very pleased overall!

True recessed light

I opted for these as compared to "puck or wafer" style as the light itself is recessed and not glaring as the wafer style. These are easy to install and have been great for almost 2 years now!

ship to store pickup

Placed order for ship to home and for pick up at store. The shipment to home delivered right away without any problems but the pickup at store never shows shipment or arrived at the store. They are not able to locate tracking or shipment of the store shipment. This is the 2nd tine this has happened so i would not recomend placing an order for store pick up.

These lights are very easy to install. I've installed them in new construction and renovations using a 6" hole bit. The three options for light output are a nice feature, the lowest setting gives off a nice soft light almost like an old style incandescent bulb.

Great lights, very well built! They are not as bright as I would like. I thought that they would be brighter. They do look nice!

The fixtures are very compact i installed them in my bar area of my basement and they work perfect and i caught them on sale for 5 bucks i will suggest these fixtures to everyone.

Great Recessed Lights for the price

These recessed lights worked great for my kitchen project. Use the template to cut the right size holes and it is a breeze. We used it for the 4k brightness setting and purchased a dimming switch and we have experienced no flickering when dimming. For $20 each, these were perfect.

I give up, stupidest product labelling in history

RETURN RETURN. Thats what you will do wirth these. Wait there is Quicklink, then there is quickly for wet locations but they are both quicklink. Then their quicklink downlight, but wait it's the not the same. Then you need quicklink light but not bathroom, not downlight. All I wanted was a fn set of 8 lights! But these holes will only sell them in sets of 4. Then you get the wrong set, then the additional lights are wrong. NAME the lights the type! Wasted 3 week, I give up.return them all I give up. You should just name every product from Halo QUICKLIN

Good but...

These are good for the price. However, there are a couple short-comings. For some strange reason, the template supplied to measure the hole you will need to cut, is mis-labeled. For the '6 inch' version of this light, the template reference is labeled as "6 1/4" (inches). In reality, the template reference is only 5 5/8" inches in diameter. Having said this, the 5 5/8 inch hole will work fine ( I preferred to cut only 5 3/8), but I have no idea why they labeled the template with the wrong measurements. The same is true for the smaller size versions of this light.
