Picked the correct product

Bought these to replace old can lights in the bathroom, easy to install and 65W was more than enough. Deeper can did reduce glare.

The first one of these lights that I bought was defective -- the orange connector on top wouldn't latch properly. The replacement works well, although I prefer the very similar Commercial Electric deep baffle fixture (53197102), which has slightly less glare (the LED lamp at the center is smaller in diameter on the Commercial Electric unit).

These are wonderful trims! They have interchangeable baffles, black...

These are wonderful trims! They have interchangeable baffles, black and white. They are both extremely effective at glare control from the sides. The black baffle has the lesser glare, and narrower beam spread. The white baffle has wider beam spread, but more glare. But either baffle is better than typical shallowly-recessed LED trims. 3000K is a good hue, not warm or cold. They do require a full-depth housing. I may replace all the remaining Incandescent trims in the house with these.

Good "Deep Baffle" recessed light, but these are 6 inches only

I have a mix of 6 and 5 inch cans and thought these would be perfect for my kitchen/family room to avoid glare on my TV. They physically fit inside 5in cans without the torsion springs but do not come with the requisite adjustable torsion springs that would allow an installation to occur. The friction blades are labelled "6" for 6 inch and cannot be flexed into the 5 inch cans. None of the packaging or instructions mentions 5 inches, only on the HD website. A call to Cooper lighting revealed lights suitable for both 5" or 6" will have a catalog number starting "RL56xxxxxxx".

Best Low Glare LED Option, But Not Perfect

I've been searching for a low glare LED recessed light that is comparable to "old school" recessed lights. I've tried others, but this one is the only one that doesn't buzz when dimmed, and does what it claims, reduces glare.

Today I received my recessed light 5in. And 6in.white integrated LED retrofitted trim at 3000k soft white. What I will say about this light is it's a good light. Very easy to install. The one problem I have with it is I love day light 5000K. I have other recessed lights where you can adjust the lights from day light, warm light, sun light, and so on. With this one it only gives you soft white.

I would recommend getting LED everything in the home. I have every single light bulb or fixture in my house changed to LED. My monthly electronic bill was greatly reduced. These LED bulb and Trim replacement is very easy to install. You can just take out the old bulb, Screw in the bulb base provided, and then just connect the bulb housing into the clip. Then just click the fixture into place. I love these and they install in under 2 minutes.
