Beautiful stained glass

This is a lovely, eye-catching lamp, especially when it is turned on. The light shines through the colored glass and enhances its beauty. I would suggest that the lamp stem be height adjustable so the lamp could adapt to a variety of spaces.

Subdued colors, classy and solid. Very pleased!

I was apprehensive about ordering this lamp, but the subdued colors in the item description's photos kept enticing me! The lamp arrived intact and I was presented with what we all come to expect; packaging madness. The large box is filled with geometric pieces styrofoam. The padding protected the lamp well, it the removal of the styrofoam should not in any circumstance be attempted indoors. Unpackaged the lamp in a garage or other location, because you WILL get styrofoam bits everywhere. Have a vacuum ready. You will also need your box cutter or knife to cut the tape holding the styrofoam pieces together. The shade was intact and I can confirm it is glass. Placing one's tooth against the shade quickly confirms the glass feel. The lamps tubes are encased in plastic which you will need to remove. The plastic of course has attracted styrofoam bits, so again, unwrap the pipes and base in the garage. Assembly is pretty straight forward. Just make sure you insert and screw in the rod at the top about 3/4 to 1 inch into the threaded top. The lamp included two old style curly CFL bulbs. I used 2700k LED 60 watt replacement bulbs instead. On turning the lamp on I was pleased to see the the classy, subdued colors were in fact there! The blue and gold really give this lamp a classy vibe which you seldom see in Tiffany type shades. It isn't garish or campy at all. The base is heavy and substantial feeling, a bit darker than I expected but any lighter and it wouldn't add as much contrast to the shade. The lamp is made by Quoizel by the way, something not indicated in the description. Overall I am please with the lamp. I took a star off for the packaging and for the inclusion of CFL bulbs rather than LED bulbs. I suppose manufacturers have millions of CFLs on their hands to get rid of, but it is 2020 and LEDs are much more energy efficient, so for the price of the lamp LEDs would be nice. I know it's nitpicking, but overall this is a nice lamp. I think we will be happy with it for many years!

I think this lamp was worth what I paid. Goes so nice in my sun room and matches close to my hanging tiffany chandlelier.

Beautiful Lamp

This is a beautiful and unique lamp. The pictures do not do it justice. The blue and red panels are clear glass that has been tinted, with the colors sometimes blended. This glass is given a pebbled surface so the light that comes through makes a lively, sparkling, cheerful effect. The addition of the glowing white panels gives the lamp a clean, bright appearance.
