Great for the Value but...

I wish I could compare this to the original Instant pot but this was a replacement for a Crock Pot express,which was non stick and had a different adjustment system. Not a fan of the dial. Otherwise this product has worked wonderfully.

Excited to keep learning to use this pressure cook

I finally bought myself a pressure cooker. it took me a bit to figure it out. But I am loving it. Way bigger than I would typically buy. Which is fine. I am just happy with this item. Better than using a slow cooker and taking hours to cook. Plus I have other options for other items to cook. Ready to keep trying this out.

A time saver

Being busy with work and taking care of family related matters often consume so much of my day. This little pot have assisted me by allowing me to prepare many meals in less time and also the convenience to focus on other matters while I wait for meals to finish. I have used it for soup, chicken, turkey and the list goes on. I just set it and forget it.

Like it okay so far!

Since I have only had the MegaChef for a short time, I don't feel I can give the most accurate review since I have only used a few of the features. However, I am writing this review in order to get an extended warranty (which requires a review). The multicooker seems to be easy to use even though the instruction booklet is vague about some things and has quite a few errors that misled, confused and distracted me at first (this is my first time using a pressure cooker). It would be helpful if there was a recipe booklet included with at least a few examples of meals/foods to get one started without having to search on-line. Even then, I was unable to find much specific to this model. I had to rely upon competitor products to learn anything. The foods I have prepared have turned out nicely and it is easy to clean and seems durable. I am looking forward to using it in the future as I learn to use it and have it become a 5 star for me.

First time trying and it’s awesome!

I just bought this and I was nervous to use it but it has saved me a lot of times and so far I’ve made two south Asian dishes with it, both which have turned out great. I am still learning the machine, every in and out of it so it’s definitely a process! I’m so happy I made this purchase.

Good Cooker

Ordered one of these on 7/6/2024, and I'm glad that I did! I made the best Beef Stroganoff in my pressure cooker last night, that I have ever tasted! Instructions were clear, and programming wasn't difficult. The Sear function worked great and so did the pressure function. The food was so good, my inner pot still smells like red wine and beef, even though it has been washed. I will have to scrub it again, with some pot & pan cleaner. My only disappointment is not having a steamer basket for the unit, and the fact that Mega Chef doesn't offer a cook book for my pressure cooker. Overall, I'm very happy with my Mega Chef!

Love the multi-use features!!

I just purchased this cooker a week ago and saved about $30 off retail. I chose it over Instant Pot brand because of the size for storage in cabinet. I went through the easy to follow set up and cooked adzuke beans. The timing was spot on at 30min however I did need to search other sites for recipes, the booklet only gives basic operations and does not recommend water ratio. It does describe, with care, limits on general quantities for safe use. I am very happy with the value and look forward to learning more ways to use it. It has efficiently replaced a rice cooker and crockpot. With the benefit of pressure cooking.

This multi functional cooker just arrive last week and has replaced a rice cooker and slow cooker. Easy to use and had great results with cooking adzuke beans. You will need to find recipes for water measurements with basics like rice and beans, no recommendations in manual or at MegaChef website.

Mega Chef

Loving my new Mega Chef. I did the water test and everything went good as it should. It took me a little bit to get lid on and off but all is goo now. It has good appearance. Looks almost like my old one of another brand.Few little minor things I need to read up on. Thanks Mega Chef

Love it!

I am SO pleased with this cooker. Very easy to learn how to use. Cooks perfectly. I haven't tried all the options yet (like slow cooker or rice or yogurt) but I am very happy with what I have done so far. I found lots of good recipes online so I think this is a family winner.
