Unfortunately this did not work for me. The bag was not securely sealed and it wouldn't vacuum air out, despite multiple tries. Had to return it.

The Megachef vacuum sealing machine is durable and super easy to use. Have already bought and returned another brands as they didn’t have strong vacuum or it suddenly stopped.. this vacuum sealer machine is strong and super easy to use with reasonable price. Best investment I did and definitely recommend it..

I recently purchased the Mega Chef food sealer from JC Penney. It definitely does its job and it’s much quieter than my old one. Only one thing I couldn’t figure out is what the hose is for. I’m still baffled.

Great Product for a Great Pice

I had an old Ronco that died on me, so I looked for a new vacuum sealer. This doesn't hold everything within the device (i.e. - bag roll and the vacuum tube), but it's easy to store. Using a vacuum sealer is perfect for households that by in bulk and want to freeze items that will last longer without the freezer burn.

I would not recommend this sealer because it doesn't operate properly. The vacuum will not work.

I was wanting a vacuum sealer and after reading the good reviews I purchased this one. When I took it out of the box there were spare parts in the bottom of the box. Used and it sealed good but would not vacuum. Guessing the spare parts had something to do with that. I contacted the manufacturer and never received a reply from. Thankfully Penneys allowed me to return it. Save yourself the headache and buy a different brand.
