Disappointing and misleading to say it is 1.25 qua

The demi tea kettle is gorgeous to look at & I believe well made. But so impractical and very misleading. Supposedly, it will hold 1.25 quarts BUT instruction have diagram showing how much you can fill the kettle. You are not supposed to f ill above a certain line. and that line is around two cups worth of water if even that much. So very misleading. Very disappointed. and feel scammed. Going back tomorrow plus $12 shipping fee./

Adorable, cute, small, perfect tea kettle for two

Le Creuset stainless steel small tea kettle is just perfect! Very good looking tea kettle. When you want one cup or two, this is the perfect size since it is not too heavy to lift and pour the water into your cup. It heats the water very quickly and retains the heat in the water if you use only enough for one cup and then want a second cup the water is still hot. The whistle is a nice feature. I like that the handle moves down so you can easily fill the kettle and then move the handle back up. Bloomingdale's had it come from Le Creuset and it was delivered very quickly and in perfect condition. I know I can always depend on Bloomingdale's for my shopping. Bloomingdale's the best!

The thing is rusting 8 months later

The opening at the top is rusting and I am finding PAINT AND RUST flakes in my drinks. So I’m probably going to get cancer in 5 years from this thing. DO NOT BUY!

Terrible

I bought the meringue color on sale and returned it. I don’t understand what has happened to the quality and function of this brand. The handle and top parts are made of cheap plastic. The top was so hard to push in and take out. It would get really stuck in the pot. I filled the kettle half way with water. It did not whistle when the water was boiling and starting squirting out the water all over the stove. This is not even worth $1. Worst kettle I have ever used.

Mighty little pot with big lid

Sea Salt…great color. The small size will be perfect; a mighty small pot. I have other LC dutch ovens and the lid on this one fits too far past the edge of the pot. I won’t know, if that will doing anything negative while cooking. I considered returning, but it is not returnable. Fortunately, the finish on my pot doesn’t have the awful flaws others mentioned.

Perfect Wedding Gift

I gave this tea kettle to my great- niece as a shower gift. It was one she had chosen and is perfect because it’s exactly what I would have chosen. Tea time is special, shared with spouse, family, friends, or enjoyed by yourself. This tea kettle is the perfect accompaniment for that time. It’s the right size, easy to use, reasonably priced, and looks lovely on table or stove. The best part - it’s unique enough she will, occasionally, think of me when she uses it.

Great kettle - use it properly!

Other reviews have complained about water spitting out when pouring. It's probably due to (1) overfilling and (2) pouring super high boiling water immediately into a cup. Just give it a second or two. I have not had any problems with this kettle or the design. The instructions have a diagram of how high the water should be filled. If you follow this it works perfectly. I have an electric stove (non smooth top)

Love this kettle

We have had this kettle for several months and it is the perfect size for our needs. However, I have noticed some discoloration spots in the stainless steel finish on the sides of the kettle. I have always carefully washed the kettle but I believe the discoloration is from heat. Please advise as to how to remove the stains. I would give this kettle a 5 star rating but feel that the finish should not show this discoloration.

LE CREUSET FRENCH OVEN 2 1/2 QT

I love this pot!!! I was hesitant to buy it because I know colors can be inaccurate when viewing online. Everything about it is great from the size to the color. The color is exactly as it appears in the pictures. It is a true cream color. I leave it on my cooktop as it matches my kitchen perfectly and it is so pretty. It is a great size to cook a small batch of pasta, rice, or even to cook chicken, steak, or fish. Great for single servings or servings of 2.

Loved it but…

I thoroughly enjoyed using this compact kettle, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations in terms of durability. I acquired the smaller version with the intention of using it occasionally. Whenever I did utilize it, I would place it on an induction range to heat my water.

Very good, product. True workhorse of the kitchen!

I purchased this French Oven in the color Ocean some time ago, maybe a dozen years? The lid on mine is not domed, however everything else is the same. This is an all-purpose cooking tool, just as the description states.

Fun addition to my kitchen

I love the look of this kettle! The "cerise" color is actually more shades of red, and the design is interesting. However there are few things I'm not so pleased about compared to my old Revere stainless steel copper-bottom kettle. The main issues are It's heavier and the shape and handle are tall, which make it more difficult to pick up for a short person or anyone with shoulder or arm problems. The thickness and the small bottom area make it take longer to heat up, which, besides the time factor, also uses more gas or electricity. Minor issues: the capacity is less; the whistle tip is slightly less convenient to open; and I'm afraid of accidentally banging it and chipping the enamel or accidentally having the flame too high and scorching the bottom and sides. I'm giving it a good trial because I do like to look at it.

Works well | Happy with purchase

Being single, breaking out the brassier was excessive. This has worked well for cooking two to three days of chicken, either boneless skinless breasts, or thighs. Quick browning on the stove top and seamless transition to the oven has already made many tasty meals. Cleans up well like all Le Creuset enameled cast iron. Have not tried it for other uses but am confident in its quality. Could not be happier with this purchase, and, admittedly, feel a little smarter for making this purchase.

Cookware awesome but Beware of email barrage

So im giving one star to Williams Sonoma for adding me to a million email lists. I have been clicking unsubscribe like crazy but they keep coming. High end brands like pottery barn and others come on Williams Sonoma you should be ashamed for that!

FALSE ADVERTISING

I attempted to order this Le Creuset Demi Teakettle. On the item description and order page it read: "Limited Time Offer Extra 20% Off. Use Code: EXTRA at checkout. Final Sale."

Defective & poor shipping

It showed up 6 months late and now does not work. My daughter purchased this for me for Christmas in 2021. It was supposed to ship within 2 weeks but it arrived 6 months later June 27th 2022. The communication on the delay was terrible, we were not offered a discount and my daughter who was 18 at the time and paid for it on her debit card was very confused by the various charges and credits over a 6 month time period on her low balance checking account causing over draft charges. Now it has been a year and a half later and the spout cover will not stay up when I pour water. This makes it impossible to pour hot water without using two hands, the one holding the spout back gets scalded by the steam. I called William Sonoma and they said I had it too long so they would not exchange it for me. I am shocked that such and expensive tea kettle woudl only last a year and a half and am very disppointed with the customer service first regarding shipping 6 months late and now with a clearly defective product.

Smaller kettle, pretty color - would buy again

This is the perfect size for two people, and I've been using it to make tea in the mornings (or whenever). I wouldn't really say the color is a deep teal because I think of teal as being a little more green, but it is a really nice blue color with a nice ombre gradation, going from darker at the bottom to lighter at the top. We have a flat electric cooktop, and we normally add a couple of cups of water to the kettle, so it doesn't take much time to heat up. The kettle does whistle, and it is quite loud. It is only when it's overfilled that it doesn't really whistle properly. I'm happy with this kettle, and it was a great price, perhaps partially because the color is discontinued? I've bought other things from Everything Kitchens over the years and have always been happy with the service and the things that I've bought, often at very good prices!

Bottom chipping off

Over priced. Paying purely for the brand name and not for the quality. I owned this for two years and drink tea regularly. I was hoping this would be a forever item in my kitchen however after only a few short years the black enamel or painted enamel is coming off in chunks. I am worried about how long I have been drinking this stuff and consuming it before I realized it. I like to buy few items of quality that I keep forever and this is not it. And definitely not safe.

Gorgeous pot

This pot is perfect for cooking for 1-2 people. The diameter without the handle measurement is 9 in, not 10 in, and it is 2 1/4 qt. The knob is also safe at 500F degrees as this item is from the signature series. At $150, this price is really hard to pass up if you’re looking for a smaller pot and have no use for a huge Dutch oven. The lid on this pot also fits perfectly over my 9 in Le Creuset skillet as well, so this is a bonus for me! Aside from various recipes, I plan on baking bread in this pot sometime in the near future - my first attempt at bread in a cast iron enamel pot. I can’t wait to use this beauty!

Perfect size for little jobs!

I have several Le Creuset pots and recently decided to add this lil' guy to my collection. It is the perfect size when you need to brown up a few onions or some garlic...or even heat up some frozen peas or corn. I had a cheap metal pot I used for those tasks before I got this one and the difference is like night and day. I love that while the overall volume of this pot is very little, the form factor is wider rather than deep. There is still a good amount of surface area for browning up the food.
