Great Stove

I had the original model for 20 years with no issues. This model has 1500 more BTU out put so even better. Very light and easy to use.

Light weight and with case it is easy to transport and store when not using. It works great!

Canisters overheat

Stove kept shutting itself off because the canister got too hot on high. Using a Coleman portable oven with it. I placed the oven over away from the canister compartment. I might have to return it if I can’t get the heat right so it doesn’t trip the shut off safety feature. I’ve dialed down the heat. One more shut off and back it goes. Explosion danger.

Great Camp Stove

We go camping a few times a year and this takes care of it for us. I like the single burner camp stoves, if you are using a large pan to cook on the side by side twin burners don't always work well. The pans/pots will bump together. They are also good for emergencies, if the power/gas goes out you can still cook in your home. The stoves are well made, light weight and sturdy. Since they have such a large flat surface on the bottom they are very stable when set up. The top or burner side is large and flat and will accommodate a large pan/pot as well. I have yet to have one tip over or have a pan or pot slide off. They are a cinch to use and it is too easy to load a butane can into the side. I have yet to have an issue with them, we have 2. My 8 year old can safely place it into action. The plastic case is a plus and they do not take up much space.

This small, portable camp stove worked great! The price is really good. It heats quickly. We mostly boiled water for for the freeze dried meals and for coffee, but we also did bacon and eggs in a skillet and they turned out great. This is important because bacon and eggs using the same pan requires good heat control which we found with this burner. Also, the butane canisters last longer than expected. I bought a dozen and took all of them with me, not knowing what I might need. I didn't even use up a full one canister in five days of camping!

The portable stove really is!I bought it for use in a power outage It is small enough to store but big enough to heat some emergency rations. I am not anxious to use it but am reassured it will do the job.

I had this stove before and liked it very much. Unfortunately someone stole it, so have this one as a replacement. It is very easy to use, and perfect for camping.

Great For Short or Long Term Power Outages

One of the best purchases we've made for everyday and emergency use. Bought this because I was tired of waking to no coffee during temporary power outages and this is more convenient than dragging out the generator for just a few hours. We live in hurricane country so this higher BTU burner will also allow us to cook and heat water during long term outages. We tested it and my husband liked it so much we purchased extra butane canisters so he could use it regularly to make omelets. Shipped very fast, in perfect condition, uses standard butane canisters, CSA approved, and easy to use.
