[Rewarded Review] Good stove with a large oven

Works well, burners are strong, roomy oven, heats up fast. Only downside is that there is no way of knowing when the oven has heated up. With an analog temperature dial, you just set it and guess when it's at the right temperature, which is ridiculous for such an expensive appliance.

What I wanted was a no frills gas range with minimal electronics, what I got instead was a very shoddily built appliance that can't even remain stationary when you open and close the oven. The legs don't seem to be level, and that's double confirming with the technician who went around to find a demo unit on display. The all-gas range is obviously Bosch's unloved child in their commercial series, and I wish I had opted for the higher end induction model instead, which I suspect does not have build quality problems like this.

Nice stove but burners and oven are very difficult to light and in my opinion is an engineering defect due to how long it takes to get used to those as compared to a normal stove.

nice looking, but came broken

Its a beautiful range, however my oven is still not working. When we opened the box and installed it, it had a broken rubber seal for the oven door. When the repair man came he found another issue with the ignighter. Now, parts are on backorder and i still don’t have an operating oven. Only a stovetop. So far, not very happy with this expensive non-operating oven.

Frustrating that for some some reason the oven never lights off on the first try and that I end up looking like a safe-cracker, carefully listening for when it eventually does. Frustrating that the instruction booklet has zero-information for changing the clock from 24hr to 12hr mode. Couldn't even find a YouTube video that addressed my model. Frustrating that four of the six burners are the same too-large size to be used on a consistent basis. Frustrating that the optional griddle takes longer to get to temperature than my 25 year-old electric one. Frustrating that the engineers designed the oven to bleed off as quickly as possible when turned off (adios "perfect prime rib recipie").

Quality product with some items that require a fair learning curve. Number one, the oven. The adjustment knob is difficult to see And the oven burns hot. A display of the oven temp on the digital display would have been nice.

Have bad stove 6 months and have had 9 service calls. Burners are difficult to ignite and wave constantly. The oven has not worked for several months. thebroiler had to be repaired. Was told in Sept. that it was probably not reapirable, but they continued to attempt repairs. In early Nov. it was declared unrepairable, it is now Dec. When oven did work it diid not bake evenly ruining several cakes. Do like the double burner. The vent for the oven is on continuously when the oven is on and blows in your face.

I am cooking for the first time tonight on my stove. It is more beautiful and biggerbthan I realized when it wass sitting in the appliance store.

I've have had my range for 2 and a half years and I love it! It's beautiful easy to clean. I do have an occasional problem getting the gas oven to turn on. I push the knob and hold for 3 to 5 seconds and turn to the temperature and hear it start but the gas light shuts off after about 5 seconds.

(Rewarded Review) Oven doesn’t work properly

The oven can't regulate its temperature properly and there's no digital display that helps know the settings

1 year and 6 service calls later

We have had this oven/range for 13 months now and have had 6 service calls on it. The oven will not light right away and if it does ignite, it goes out half of the time and spews gas into the house. This is the least annoying of the ovens problems. There is a LOUD rattle / vibrating noise whenever the oven is on, or even when it is off and the fan is still cooling the oven. We have had the fan replaced twice (the fan isn't the issue); some metal component (the racks, oven walls, top, etc) are vibrating tha after 6 service calls, the Bosch recommended technicians can't figure out the problem and have stopped returning our calls for service. The rnage looks great, but I would not recommend this unit to anyone.

This range is significantly wider than the average range and as a stand alone appliance it really is a statement in the kitchen. We have a large kitchen and ordinary sized appliances look too small. This range is perfectly sized. Functionality is good too. The oven takes a few tries to understand how to best bake and roast meals, but once we figured it out it has been great.

Run, don't walk ...away from this range

This gas range was recommended as a replacement to the original range we had ordered and it has been nothing short of a nightmare!!! We have had our appliance store's third party company out three times and Bosch has now been out twice and the problems seem to be getting worse. Additionally, not only did the repairman not fix the issues when he was here last, he scratched my brand new hardwood floors in the process! The oven takes about 20 attempts to light and once its finally lit, it randomly shuts off with no warning and since the oven continues to run under normal circumstances, you don't even know that it turns off.

Range is fantastic lots of space and cooking power. My only complaint is that the simmer bummer only works 10% of the time. I will be calling to get a rep out to fix that soon. I would give 5 stars if the simmer worked properly.
