Home assembly required

This is a quality product. The only drawback was the assembly. Directions were difficult to follow. Diagram of parts had small print and light ink. Difficult to read even with a magnifying glass. Since the diagram was so difficult to read, we weren't always sure what part they were referring to in the directions.

Hung light looked good had a glass diffuser at the bottom of fixture. The nut welded at the bottom of fixture was welded crooked and the diffuser would not be level with the bottom of fixtue spent more time trying put put the last part on. I am removing and returning.

Stunning option for an updated look

This was installed over our kitchen table. One of the best features is the frosted glass that covers the bottom of the light, so your eyes are not blasted with the bulbs, like typical pendants. The linen shade around the lamp adds another layer of sophistication. This is on a dimmer, so we can control the light to fit the mood. Very happy with this purchase

looks great but hard to assemble

Sleek and modern ( unlike the rest of the dining room....a smell a remodel coming)..The lamp is quite nice although putting in new lightbulb will be a major hassle. There is a circular piece of glass on the bottom of the lamp which is held on with a washer and threaded knob. The glass is wide and the knob is small and takes two people to assure you dont drop the glass while unscrewing the small knob. It also has room for 3 LED lights that are dimmable......however if you do dim the lights with 3 bulbs the whole lamp flickers...like someone sendin out morse code....very distracting. Using just 2 bulbs on dim eradacates the situation and no flickering is seen. It comes in pieces from the factory and assembling it using the including directions is impossible. Tiny print, poor pictures and no idea where " fig 1-2 or3" is shown do not help either. I give it a 5 for looks and a 2 for fit finish and design.

Love the look, the center rod was bent so everything hung crooked. Got it straightened out but made hanging difficult.

Love this chandelier but the directions are very difficult to follow.it took several hours to complete assembly and installation.

Well-made and lovely

The quality and look is exactly what we were looking for. I would have given it 5 stars except for the poor assembly instructions. There are quite a few steps to assemble the light and the pictures are not clear. With two of us working on it, it took several tries to figure it out, and we've assembled many things over the years.

Beautiful Light Fixture

I purchased this pendant drum chandelier for a kitchen eating area. We have several other light fixtures in the Parsons Studio line from Minka Lavery in smoked iron. The fixture provides an updated look to our kitchen and provides a warm light in the kitchen area. We had an electrician install it so I'm not sure if this was difficult to install. There is a seam in the shade. You might want to pay attention to that during install and make sure it's installed so the seam is not facing your high traffic area and to help in making it less noticeable. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Style and elegance

Looks beautiful and casts lots of light over our kitchen table. It is both elegant and simple with just the right amount of oomph to not be cookie cutter.
