Love this fixture. It accents our decor and is perfect for entryway. We love it so much we bought the matching chandelier for our dining room.

This light fixture has a classic design. It is very attractive and we have received many compliments on it. It has a neutral color that goes with most decor.

Need a magnetic screwdriver for installation!!

It looks very nice on the ceiling. Beware that you absolutely need a magnetic screwdriver to screw it into the base. The space is too narrow to hold the screw with your finger long enough to get the screw centered on the hole and screw it in. What should have been a half hour job turned into 3 hours until I though of cellophane tape to hold the screw to the end of a screwdriver!

This is a stunning fixture perfect mix of brushed gold, black metal, and the cording.

Gold shade interior causes yellowish lighting

I really like this fixture, but what I didn’t think about is that the gold interior causes a yellow tinge when the light is on. I don’t know if different bulbs would make a difference, but you should think about this before purchasing.

Very unique and eye catching!

I love this fixture because of the textures of the rope detailing along with the black and mat gold metal. The only issue is that it does give off a yellowish light because of the gold interior of the shade. I might have to research a different bulb to reduce the yellowish effect of the light.

Handsome Heavy Solid Brass Ceiling Light

The MINKA LAVERY WINDWARD PASSAGE 20.5 INCH 4-LIGHT SOFT BRASS SEMI-FLUSH MOUNT WITH NATURAL ROPE SHADE is a very Handsome HEAVY Solid Brass ceiling light fixture. This ceiling light fixture is much larger than your typical ceiling light, measuring 20 inches wide and hanging down 14.5 inches and the shade is 9.5 inches deep. Due to the weight of this solid brass fixture, there is an attached hanging cable to help with electrical connections. The hanging cable was too long, so I needed to adjust it shorter so I could make the electrical connections. Even after making all electrical connections, the solid brass fixture was so heavy it was difficult to mount it to the ceiling bracket. I finally had to get help holding and picking up the dropped mounting screws. This is by far the most difficulty I have ever encountered installing a ceiling light fixture. This fixture accepts 4 candelabra chandelier type light bulbs. Even with all the installation troubles, I love the look of this lamp and definitely do recommend this product. Less

Gorgeous 20” Minka-Lavery Light Fixture

Absolutely love this upscale Minka-Lavery light fixture! I replaced a light fixture in my formal dining area with this light fixture. I have received several compliments on the look of this light. This is a well constructed fixture with a matte champagne color, has a tightly woven rope design, and requires four candelabra bulbs. Bulbs are NOT included with this fixture. The fixture is 20 inches wide and hangs 14 1/2 inches from the ceiling. The down rod hangs approximately four and a half inches from the ceiling to the top of the fixture. This is a simple three wire hookup; hot, neutral and ground. The fixture is a slightly heavy, but comes with a hook to help keep the light in place while wiring. This is a nice feature, so it doesn’t require two people for installation. I used four LED 2.5 watt, 200 lumen output candlebra bulbs. The bulbs emit a nice glow in the room and projects a cool design on the ceiling. Overall I am extremely happy with the look and functionality of this fixture by Minka-Lavery. Less

Belle Brass / Rope Light Fixture

Stunning Illumination!

This Minka Lavery Flush mount light fixture is so elegant in our Living Room. We absolutely love the warmth feel that the natural rope shade combines with the brass finish. Installation is quiet simple but I would recommend having a helper to assist with holding the unit in place to install the final set screws. The wire suspension cable makes the wiring connection process much easier by eliminating the task of holding the fixture in place while wiring. Once install is complete and bulbs are installed, the fixture creates this unique illumination on the ceiling. We enjoy it as it adds character to the space. Overall very pleased.

Product is very classy and the seedy glass gives it character, This is not your 'typical' bathroom light, but looks much more sophisticated and modern. Great value for the price.
