spills dont clean up

Beautiful rug, but I spilled a coke on it. I cleaned it up and it looked gone, BUT when it dried it was weird! It has a weird ring around where the stain was! Used expensive cleaner on it too! Ugh!

This rug pad is not .33" as described, the rug pad sent to me is .46".

I wish I read the review before I bought this rug. I see now that several people had the same problem of not getting Mist but rather a beige rug. I didn't know any better so I did an exchange and got the same thing for the second time. My biggest issue is the customer service with Perigold. the fact that they I have to pack this heavy 10 X 14 rug and take it to fed ex is ridiculous when they sold me something nothing like the photo. I will never buy any rug from them again. And given that this many people of complained, they should have done something about it. BTW...I had the worst experience with one of the supervisors....never again.

Like all the other reviews- mist is NOT gray at all, not even a hint. It’s closer to the ivory shown in the listing pictures. Also NOT 60% linen/ 30% viscose/ 10% cotton- it’s 60%viscose/30% wool/ 10% cotton…specifically chose this rug because it was supposed to be less viscose - now I’m stuck with a rug that’s super light and most likely really hard to clean with kids….it is soft. Only time will tell how it holds up.

The rug is soft and feels great. However, the actual color for the Mist rug does not match the color on the website. I upload a picture to Perigold customer service and they verified that as well. The mist color is quite beige whereas the picture is closer to grey in my opinion.

Yikes. The photos are not of the rug that you’ll get delivered. I ordered the rug in Mist, and it looks like the Sepia color, maybe even lighter! Not grey… at all! Not even a light grey. It’s light beige. On top of that, the edges are completely different than what’s shown online. Online it looks like there’s a clean edge. Turns out there’s a lining that goes around the entire rug. I’m so mad.

Nice rug, soft and smooth material but the color was wayyy lighter than expected. Still love the rug but would consider it more on a wire tone than grey.

Impossible to clean

Very pretty rug, but sheds terribly, leaving lint on everything that touches it and is VERY difficult to clean. Could live with the shedding, but worse than that...any spots will be permanent - attempts to spot clean seems to change the texture and color of the rug forever. Beyond disappointed. Called overstock when I realized this. They stated there was nothing they could do past the 30 day return window. Waste of money.

Color and Texture Great, Sheds and Stains easily

Color is great, and texture matches the pictures, but the rug sheds a ton when vacuuming every time, and it is very difficult to remove a stain without wrecking the rug. It does not like any liquid

I really like this rug. It’s a very pretty silver color. Looks great in my black-walled room!

The color I ordered is beautiful. However it sheds a lot and old clothes in closet smell still remains after 6 months of use. It came poorly wrapped. It looks handmade but I'm not sure if it's good to pay this price for this condition. I feel the one I received might be a vintage. There were not so many choices available at moment of the purchase so I decided to keep it since I need a rug to move in my new apartment in pandemic.

I just unpacked the rug and am so happy with my purchase. You never know if it is going to match the online photo but I must it is beyond what I expected, it Is such a beautiful rug. It looks and feels like silk. I love it!

Beautiful but color not as pictured

Beautiful rug! Super soft and nice on the feet. I had to take a star off because the color doesn’t really look like the photo. It has pink undertones/ a pinkish hue that isn’t visible in the photos and unfortunately doesn’t go with our decor.

An absolutely luxurious rug with a beautiful sheen to it. It has an oh so soft hint of blush to it - not overly rich in color but just enough for the right amount of femininity. Lovely in my master bedroom. Highly recommend!
